Go C6!!! I just got one back in September and people thought I was crazy to buy a used 15 year old sports car, but man were they wrong... I was able to get a z51 3LT convertible 2008 C6 with only 34,000ish miles on it for 31 out the door.... I went ahead and changed out the harmonic balancer because if that fails it's no joke for realz... That ran me about 1500, but after changing it out she drives like a champ... I would definitely say go for it if you are thinking about buying a second gen C6... Oh and if you have to change the harmonic balancer I would replace it with an ATI Super Damper and make sure to get the kit that goes with it, you will thank me later

This is a great list and awesome video! Thanks for making it! I have about 35-40K to spend on a second "fun" car. I was thinking of getting a new Miata but now I'm thinking maybe a used Porsche or Corvette... I can almost stretch for a C7 or an F-type... :-)

Great video! I currently drive my first car (a 2009 civic si). I've been wanting something sportier, and I am going between the Cayman s and the c6 corvette. I've always been obsessed with German cars, and I was wondering, if I get the cayman s, will I miss the power of the c6, or will I be satisfied with the drive of the Porsche?

Depends if you plan on spending any track time or backroad driving with the car. If so the cayman is much more mesmerizing but for purely street and a lot of highway driving the power of the vette will win you over. The corvette also will be much cheaper on insurance and maintenance so that’s something to keep in mind. In the end I don’t think you can go wrong as long as the cayman is an S. Big difference from the base in terms of power.

How would you say an is350 f sport stacks up to these? 3rd gen and up 2014+

Probably not as quick as some of them. But if it’s going to be a daily driver, far more comfortable and ultra reliable. I would say they’re great cars all around, never something you would take to a track though

Hey it’s a great video no doubt. I just have a quick question. I’m on market for a Mustang GT premium or Challenger RT 2015-17 what do you think I should do ? Do you think corvette would be a better choice ?

It really depends what you’re looking for in terms of handling or practicality. The major differences are that the vette is far lighter than the challenger and mustang and a lot more fun around corners. On the other hand, the interior is worse and it only has 2 seats, where as the others have backseats although small. For pure performance I would go vette, the challenger is likely the most comfortable, and the mustang is somewhere in between

Isnt the harmonic balancer failure for the 05 to 07 corvette?

It can happen from 1997 all the way to 2013. Most common on the 2005-2007 LS2 yes. But it does occur on the LS1 (very rare) and LS3 (less rare) as well from my understanding. @@running2redline I personally have a 2006 C6 Z06 I'm not kidding I live in Connecticut I saw this one online in Pennsylvania 2000 miles on it the dealer wanted 35000 sunset orange I called so fast told them to freeze it I want it purchase it instantly the guy was a used exotic car dealership went down to pick it up wow it look better than new I'm serious I'm still stunned at the price the tags still on the car this was two years ago I now just turn 6000 miles on it just a ridiculous deal in my opinion and amazing car that color sunset orange looks amazing in person in my opinion. And to this day I still wonder who could have purchased this car for all those years and have it sit in the garage and the car looks better than a new car even underneath it. And the funny thing we had that stupid Omission lawn Connecticut we have to take the car to emissions to pass it and when I went I was waiting there and some old lady remark why do I have to take my new car to the emissions LOL and I agreed with her even though it was 2006.

I’m a huge Miata guy and own an NC, the reason is they are found in my best cars under 25/20/15K videos and can be had well cheaper than 30K. Just wanted to give more variety although the ND is more fun than some of the car listed here. Thanks for watching!
