Okay, to everyone insulting those of whom go onto sites like BestGore, here's a horror aficionado's perspective: BestGore really isn't that bad for me, to be frank. Whilst it may be considered quite disturbing to some, I am desenitized to such things. Most of the images are just decapitations &/or severed limbs - although, if I remember correctly, there is a video of a man's head being crushed by a tire. It may very well be that these images are from or of real acts of violence, which is tragic & all my sympathy goes to the loved ones of the victim, but death is natural & is something to embrace. I do not act like it's not a 'big deal' that these people died, I am just not effected the way. I do not cry, cringe, scream, vomit, etc. the actual violence does not affect me. Of course, I felt sorry for the victim, but, his/her dying did not surprise me. It does not make someone "sick" if they enjoy learning about the human body or is not sickened by cruel acts of man. Yes, it is poignant, but our species commits terrible crimes every second. The sick ones are the provider of such things & the ones whom act upon it. There are cases of people seeing such things & being traumatized for weeks, months, even years (!). Why would you blame someone for not having a haunted psyche? Think about the people who have to work & investigate these sorts of things. They have to be mentally prepared - they are not "sick." They are helping the world. I dunno. I could go on about the psychological reasons as to why we as humans are attracted to such things, but, I think I'll leave everything at this for now. Sorry my writing isn't very eloquent at the moment, sleepy time she comes. (MAN, I'm so sorry I took examples from my own weird creepy mind.... I sure sounded conceited, didn't I?) Just the insight from a girl whom have found dead bodies that aspires to be a forensic pathologist that specializes in criminal psychology & mental criminology.

I used to be obsessed with best gore back in high school. like literally spending every afternoon every day watching that shit. It really affected me, I became desensitized to a lot of it and started seeing life as pointless and devalued human life. I literally still dream/ have nightmares about a lot of things on there. There are a lot of really horrific accidents, crime scene pictures with decomposing human remains, murders, self harm, execution, mauling and shit like that. hey Matt! I would like to thank you for adding ana boot camp into this video. I've been watching your channel for a few years now and although I don't comment much, I felt compelled to this time. I struggled with anorexia and bulimia in high school and there wasn't a second of a day that one of my browsers didn't have a pro eating disorder website open and ready. They are vile pages written by people as ill as those reading them and I would like to ask anyone who took the time to read this to please be wary of those sites. Also, parents, please monitor what your child is doing online. I'm not saying ask for all their passwords and hack their Facebook but check on their activity/history because you never know what you'll find. I know if someone had intervened in my life sooner I wouldn't still be struggling with anorexia in my 20s.
