Every season of Big Brother needs a great villain. Well, that's not true, but a GREAT season of Big Brother always has a villain of some sorts. Villains have the ability to define an entire season, and today, we're going to be looking at the greatest villains of all time.

Yeah, there's an obvious difference between being a villain and being a genuinely bad person. If you're going to be a scheming asshole, you should be that way to everyone rather than being selective with it. If only Amanda stuck to her guns when she called out Ginamarie and Aaryn she could've been one of my most enjoyable players ever but she had to start racially attacking Candace out of nowhere.

She could have been such a great villain had she owned it. She wasn’t a villain in 16, and I would’ve called her a hero then for sure, but she slowly started becoming more villainous in 18, and had she totally accepted the role in 22 I would have loved it

Amanda and Dick def deserve the top 2 spots. I'd put Paul a little higher. He psychologically and emotionally manipulated people on a level we'll probably never see again on Big Brother, and he still managed to get to the finals both times. Blows my mind how amazingly smart the guy is when it comes to strategy, but how incredibly awful his jury management was. If he had shown any empathy at all, he would have won both times. But I guess that's what makes him such a good villain.

Amanda could have been one of the most popular and best players to play the game had she not done a complete 180 throughout the season. She started by confronting and verbally targeting the racist people in the house for being racist, but then started having racially motivated confrontations herself. Had she not done that, I would love her considering a huge reason she hated Elissa is because she was rlly passive aggressive to her and body shamed her

Amanda by far is one of my all time favorites. What an underrated game. She lost because she got outfoxed by Andy. Losing to someone who is better to me does not discredit their game. Mind you, Amanda would’ve taken McCrae to F2 and lost most likely in a unanimous vote, but she really did rule that season with an iron fist.

Ethan, my dude, your videos are getting better and better. I love the structure of your videos so much because I get your analysis and the clips to back it up. I think a lot video essays/video analyses are structured like an essay without necessarily regarding its format. You craft your videos along with the format, the nature of television and video, which makes them more engaging then listening to someone just speak with a video behind it. Not that there's anything wrong with that structure, but yours feels really crisp and unique in a sea of other opinions.

This video really is a cautionary tale if anyone wants to go on the show. Paul loss because they were a villain, Danyelle lost because she was a villain, and Dan lost 14 because he was a villain. U can be a villain and win but you definitely have to find the line and apologize at the end.

100%, there's a very fine line where you can be the villain but still have the respect from the majority of jurors, or at least more respect than the person sitting next to you. It's hard to pull off but we've seen that it can happen

@@clovesevina9763 Of the winners, you have Lisa/Drew/Jordan/Ian/Steve/Kaycee as the heroes, Will/Jun/Maggie/Boogie/Dick/Adam/Dan/Rachel/Andy/Derrick/Nicole/Josh/Jackson as the villains, and then there's the players like Hayden/Cody/Xavier who come across as the nice guys, but aren't above pulling moves that could be considered villainous

From an interview earlier this year, it wasn't even his decision to leave. Basically the producers called him one day and told him he needed to be checked on by doctors outside the house and he'd be back. The whole ordeal ended up taking almost the entire rest of the day and by that point he'd already been outside the house for "too long".

Personally, Danielle Reyes and Vanessa from bb17 are the best players to never win the game because Danielle literally got screwed over by jury members watching the entire season unfold (which I believe is the reason why they had jury sequestered from then point on) correct me if I am wrong, and Vanessa was going to win had she won the final hoh. Jury management is a part of the game as well, and Tyler literally told Bayley that he didn't care if she didn't vote for him. Lack of jury management doesn't make him the best player to never win in my eyes. He is a phenomenal player though.

Paul worked so hard only to piss off an entire jury by denying the villain role, like Vanessa they both were okay playing the villain for the DR but not so to the other houseguests. Danielle is a black woman and Paul is non-binary I think. You have to have a very specific definition of diversity to say Josh was the most diverse. Big brother isn't very diverse. The show is 70% white and the villains skews towards earlier season where it was even less diverse. What is true is that there's a leaning towards men.
