@thebonesaw..46343 жыл бұрын
On what planet can you find a CTS-V for under $10,000? You can find a CTS for that price, but a CTS-V goes for $25k to $30k minimum (for the very oldest models with the highest mileage. 2007 models regularly go for over $40,000... so, if you're getting it for less than $10 grand, it's garbage, and would cost you $20 grand just to get running again.
@thebonesaw..46342 жыл бұрын
@Jim Sharck -- A large part of this is that the used car market is completely shot to hell. One issue is the Cash For Clunkers program... the problem with the program is that the cars bought back by the government CANNOT be resold, they must be destroyed. This removed nearly a million cars from the used car market, severely limiting supply, driving up demand. This in turn drives consumers, who were looking for a used car, into buying a new one because it's just not worth it to pay $15,000 for a used car when you can get a new one for $25,000 or less. Now add in the pandemic, which has limited the number of people selling their used car simply because they're not using their current car as much, therefore they have little reason to sell. And we're still not done, because now we have to add in the plethora of people who have decided to simply not buy a car to begin with, they just use Uber and apps like Grubhub to fletch their fast food and their groceries. It's going to take YEARS before the used car market bounces back... if it does at all.

R32 owner here, the car while extremely fun is not very tunable unless you go forced induction. Don't expect much power through tunes or other engine mods. Most people cap out around 300 HP before forced induction, even still its a lot of fun and one of the best values for the price range and even after forced induction you can be looking at a 700HP Car with AWD for around $30k when all is said and done. Just gonna put this out there, if you love the 350z but dont like how it has literally no room. Buy a G35. I personally dont like them stock but with a new front bumper (please dont get the gtr kit) it can look wicked clean

@SI0AX3 жыл бұрын
Be aware that the Subaru WRX can be pretty unreliable with possible engine failure at just 50,000 miles. I would recommend an EVO if you can afford the payments. The EVO will hold it's value better, but you won't be getting an EVO for Under $20,000.

@Jival Roopnarian The engine that came after the N54 in the BMW 335i, it turned into a single turbo instead of a twin turbo setup, and sounded so good 🤤.

What's odd is they were talking about the first generation CTS-V but they kept showing the Gen 2 and Gen 3 V's with the supercharged LSA or LT4...

No mention of the 328i and xdrive variant? Turbo charged 240hp stock with the standard BMW trappings. Some easy part swaps and a BootMod3 tuning can get you 300hp. Plus lots of parts on aftermarket.

@SI0AX3 жыл бұрын
Even the Mazdaspeed 6 can be had for less that $10,000 and the Mazdaspeed 6 is 4 cylinder turbo AWD just like the Subaru WRX! Edit: I have a Mazdaspeed 6 modded to make 300WHP with upgraded turbo and will be forging the engine soon and aim to be making 700WHP.
@MetroidGamerFan3 жыл бұрын
@@SI0AX You're absolutely right, except the AWD system on the MS6 is front bias, but it doesn't take much for the rear wheels to kick in. And go for the 700 WHP I'd love to see that btw ;). Only make sure to not break your axles, because there are none rated for over 500 WHP. :( [or not that I know of.]
@SI0AX3 жыл бұрын
@@MetroidGamerFan It's 100/0 at speeds below 25mph until the front wheels slip and when above 25mph it's 70/30. When full throttle it will always be 50/50. The 500 WHP axles are only really needed for hard launches which I will not be doing ,lol. I know a guy who had the 500WHP axles can handle a few hundred hard launches at around 700WHP before needing to be replaced. I would always go full throttle mid corner to get the 50/50 power split and better mid corner acceleration. The car always turned better at full throttle.
