I remember that fight like it was yesterday. That was the day I lost any respect for Chris “Ipoke-U2Stoppage” Weidman and it was clear as day that “The All-American Pussy” gassed out after getting a bunch of useless takedowns, from which Gegard got up easier and easier as the fight progressed and Weidman tried his hardest to get a DQ win or at least a No Contest but fortunately the MMA GODS were watching and Weidman got a TKO loss as he deserved… and since he’s gotten away with cheating like nobody I’ve ever seen- RIP Bruno Silva…

That battle fight was hilarious. Fighters have 5 minutes to recover from an eye poke. Lousa called it after a minute, which is fine. There's no issue there. If you know you're done then no need to take the full 5. But it was less than 5 minutes total from the eye poke to him telling Battle he was going to kill him. Like, bro. Get in there. Well when you fight 25+ fights in the ufc against top 10 guys every single time , you’ll rack up some loses. These guys with good records mostly came from fighting other leagues , and most guys that have 25+ ufc fights end up with quiet a few losses before it’s over with He fought in the ufc for 15-16 years. Shout out to Anthony Smith who could have EASILY taken the belt from Jon Jones after Jones hit him with a blatantly illegal knee to the face, but he decided to keep fighting even though he was obviously hurt by it. Aljo vs Yan absolutely should’ve been here. Aljo spent like 5 minutes holding his head, covering his face, pretending to cry, and flopping all over the canvas before the fight was called off. There were several occasions where he sits up, talks to the referee, then immediately falls back down on the canvas and starts rolling around again. Did Yan hit him with an illegal knee? Absolutely, that’s his fault, but Aljo clearly milks it.

So imagine a finger going in your eye and I'm sorry but that's going to do a lot more than a damn eyelash. You can tell when I poke is serious. Todd Duffee was never that guy to back out. He was gassed, yes. But he just needed 2 minutes and he would have been back in it. Todd wouldn't have backed out on purpose to win. Technically speaking Sanchez vs Perreira fight should have been stopped as it was; however, unless the ref had definitive proof that the strike was not only illegal but also intentional (which it clearly was not, and even if it was, there’s no way to prove it, unless it was a repeated foul, and the fouling fighter was warned and deducted a point before the fight ending strike happened), in which case if the fight got stopped due to the fouled fighter unable to continue bc of the illegal strike, the rule is clear, unless the illegal strike is clearly intentional, in a 3 round bout, the fight has to have commenced past round 2, after which it goes to the judges’ score cards for a technical decision, which would clearly have Perreira win by technical decision. Because what would happen if the fighter who fouled is either warned or even deducted a point after throwing an illegal strike, and the fighter who got fouled is unable to continue? It would instantly be a TKO loss for Sanchez or win for Perreira and in this case there was absolutely no evidence to conclude that the illegal strike was intentional.

We all love Big John, but "punching someone behind the ears can be dangerous. This area is particularly vulnerable because it is close to the temple and the brain. A strike there can cause several serious injuries, including: Concussion: A forceful impact to the head can result in a concussion, which can lead to long-term cognitive issues. Hearing Damage: The area behind the ears is near the inner ear, and a strong blow can cause hearing loss or balance issues. Neck Injury: A punch can also cause whiplash or other neck injuries due to the sudden movement of the head. Knockout: Strikes to the head can lead to a knockout, which poses risks of further injury if the person falls." -this is from Quora.

Crazy to think one of the most important and iconic fights in MMA history only happened because Sakuraba was gifted a win.

Quick question do you guys have any video already made! Where you guys show breaking bones while the fight is happening? Like this on Titan Fc 48 ? Edir Terry vs Irwin Rivera! If you do have any videos like this can you share it the link or create one with stuff like this 😁, I been looking around but I don’t find many…

Aljo and Weidman should both have made this list on the same basis that you put sugar free so low. If a fight in a random regional show means it’s tenth then fights with title implications or even title changes in the UFC should be in here.

Ed Herman has put on some AMAZING fights and took advantage of a loophole that the ref was giving him. Then he finished the fight. Everybody gets the benefit of the doubt once

The Diego Sanchez fight is the one Fabia was trying to blackmail the UFC with, which led to Sanchez getting his fight cancelled and his contract cashed out. O'Malley vs. Assuncao (sp?) should be on this list too. That was a pretty obvious quit.

Pride was juiced and corrupt but way better than UFC. The Gracies going after the "Gracie Hunter". He beat one of them and they kept going after him, and he got called the hunter for collecting heads. They even threw in the towel after all that talk.

@@androgynousmaggot9389 do you not know that the Yakuza literally owned Pride and would make people throw fights and take a dive including against their Golden Boy Sakuraba. Does not get more fake than a rigged fight.

To be fair to Ed Herman, only after the ref called a nutshot, he started acting like he was hit in the nuts. He's just working with what the ref gave him.

Most of the list is unfair from MMA on Point... blaming a guy for quitting for being punched in the throat or eye, how daf do you know how much that hurts? Just because other fighters react differently? Didn't expect this from these great gentlemen.

Dating myself as a fan a bit here, but remember Rafael Torre? The notorious liar and eventually murderer had a professional MMA bout. I'm not saying he paid his opponent to gently put his leg into a kneebar so he could still pretend he was a world class grappler...but watch the fight and tell me you don't see it.
