Aljo vs Yan absolutely should’ve been here. Aljo spent like 5 minutes holding his head, covering his face, pretending to cry, and flopping all over the canvas before the fight was called off. There were several occasions where he sits up, talks to the referee, then immediately falls back down on the canvas and starts rolling around again. Did Yan hit him with an illegal knee? Absolutely, that’s his fault, but Aljo clearly milks it.

Technically speaking Sanchez vs Perreira fight should have been stopped as it was; however, unless the ref had definitive proof that the strike was not only illegal but also intentional (which it clearly was not, and even if it was, there’s no way to prove it, unless it was a repeated foul, and the fouling fighter was warned and deducted a point before the fight ending strike happened), in which case if the fight got stopped due to the fouled fighter unable to continue bc of the illegal strike, the rule is clear, unless the illegal strike is clearly intentional, in a 3 round bout, the fight has to have commenced past round 2, after which it goes to the judges’ score cards for a technical decision, which would clearly have Perreira win by technical decision. Because what would happen if the fighter who fouled is either warned or even deducted a point after throwing an illegal strike, and the fighter who got fouled is unable to continue? It would instantly be a TKO loss for Sanchez or win for Perreira and in this case there was absolutely no evidence to conclude that the illegal strike was intentional.

Dan "Miragialattii" is one of the most obviously "I ref the fights I bet on" refs I have ever seen.

18:02 is a bit difficult to judge coz the opponent didn't only kick him in the face, he first eye poked him then continued to kick him

Pride was juiced and corrupt but way better than UFC. The Gracies going after the "Gracie Hunter". He beat one of them and they kept going after him, and he got called the hunter for collecting heads. They even threw in the towel after all that talk.

@@Unknown-rb3ip I don't know if that's a fair claim. Sakuraba would've fought differently with different rules.
@androgynousmaggot93892 ай бұрын
Anyway, shouldn't be on this list, since Sakuraba wasn't faking an injury or asking for the opponents DQ

@@androgynousmaggot9389 do you not know that the Yakuza literally owned Pride and would make people throw fights and take a dive including against their Golden Boy Sakuraba. Does not get more fake than a rigged fight.

Diego stole victory from the jaws of defeat. Fair play to him. He legit got fouled and he took his chance.

I forget when it happened but when UFC was in Brazil ref stopped a sub the moment it was put in and turns out the ref is the training partner for the one who won

Great video, should we factor the conflict of intrest of betting against the one winning? Some cases seem so out of their mind that I find no other explanation.

Sterling's theatrics against Pyotr Yan are worth mentioning.
