The handling of Bellamy's end aside... Everyone always gets hung up on Clarke not getting the notebook. Which I prefer actually... because that part is at least more realistic than everything going Clarke's way. Of course Clarke wants it back. But it's also beside the point, in my view, in regard to shooting Bellamy. Bellamy makes it clear that he's telling Bill about Madi, whether he has the sketch book or not. Which, in this presentation, seals his fate. (I love Lost... so I've mostly grown accustom to sudden main character deaths. And considering the way The 100 has rolled in the past, my expectations were always low.)

A few things about this one: - She had no time; - Episode 12 was when Bellamy allowed her to be tortured and he didn't do anything, so basically she couldn't trust who that man was, because he was even allowing his best friend to suffer like this; so she would never trust Madi with him; - The book, for example... It wasn't even because of that. If anyone had the book, they wouldn't understand (she thought Sheidheda was dead). It was about the information Bellamy had. She tried to talk to him and convince him to not turn Madi but he couldn't listen. In the very "death" scene, she tried. So as a mother, what would you do if your child was in GREAT danger (we saw what happened to Madi after this) and a person you don't longer recognized (and helped you to get tortured) kept saying they would turn Madi in but he would protect her. Would you let it go? You can say that you'll not going to do that anymore (in season 6 - redemption, etc. [which there wasn't really much to be redeemed -> she's her daughter and she met Bellamy for just six months and Madi for years) and still, in the end of days, ignore it when it comes to your daughter (who she spent 6 years+ with, when she just spent one year and some months with him).

There's a reason why this episode was rated the lowest of the ENTIRE series - Bellamy's death. Completely idiotic and unbelievable. They destroyed Bellamy's character, Clarke's character as far as I'm concerned and Bellarke. Whether you think they were romantic or platonic, Bellarke was such a beautiful and strong duo that have risked their lives for one another and to just destroy that connection like this? It angers me deeply. The problem isn't that Bellamy died, it's HOW he died. No one can convince me that was "good writing" or even slightly believable to the characters. This season is garbage and it makes me very happy knowing Jason didn't get his prequel because after the garbage he produced this season and the writing decisions he made to SPITE THE FANS, he doesn't deserve to work on another TV show. The complete disrespect to Bellamy's character, TO NOT EVEN GIVE HIM A REAL DEATH SCENE .. it gets me too angry even thinking about it. I gotta stop before this becomes a 10 page rant on why I hate Jason.

when they told the actors what would go down, i believe eliza (clarke) begged the writers that if they wanted to kill someone off they should make bellamy kill clarke instead of the other way around. i think multiple other co-stars were also against this bullshit idea of killing bellamy off. i dont remember exactly what it was but when the episode first came out and everyone was talking about it, it was rumored that the showrunner had some issues with bob (bellamy) so he wanted to kill him off personally. i dont know if this is completly true but, i mean, you can tell that his death doesnt make any fucking sense and that they just wanted to "shock" the audience. this clearly back fired (the rating on imdb says it all). also, clarke didnt even grab they fucking book so it has no impact at all.

Actually the whole season 7 Bellamy is extremely in character and so is Clarke. It's well established. Bellamy is easily manipulated and Clarke is willing to kill or let die her loved ones for things she considers of utmost importance (remember when she let Abby hang at the end of season 3?). They are both perfectly capable of what they did in this episode and the few last ones. I was very sad when I watched this, but as far as the story goes I'm ok with this. It WAS in character!

I already hated this season but this episode ruined the whole series for me. Clarke would never kill Bellamy after everything they’ve been through, they’ve been like the main pairing of the whole show. Clarke didn’t even grab the book, she could’ve just shot his leg or something too. Them ruining Bellamy’s character in the last season and none of the other characters even caring about him it’s just terrible writing especially for a final season, Bob asking for time off for his mental health doesn’t equal him deserving his character to go out like this. Bob and Eliza have said it doesn’t seem in character for Clarke to ever do this too, and have said that Jason told them to play their characters as romantic. Bob’s acting was great though, the acting in episode 14 sucks though and the series finale is not satisfying. I really enjoyed season 6 but the show really should’ve ended after season 5.

Over something that literally right after his death, she disregarded and continued on anyway... Making his death meaningless.... Was awful. I feel like the writers/creators/somebody had animosity towards Bob Morely for wanting to take off part of this season and they paid that back by killing his character in one of tvs most bullshit deaths ever. The last day of shooting was basically the last day of freedom for the next year +, so they never got to do the usual cast parties and goodbyes that most other shows do. Why not have him go out saving his friends???? Even worse, having Clarke kill him (when she easily could have shot him in the leg or shot the others in the room etc) is just crazy. Its blasphemy. I realize he wasnt really Bellamy but so many other characters have done dumb things and we've been able to pull them back? Sucks he wasn't given the chance and will go out like this... Not to mention he got no last goodbye scene with Octavia??? They also did it in the last 20 seconds of the show and then Clarke just runs off, like what???? It was so fast and it was barely an afterthought. AND SHE DIDNT EVEN GRAB THE BOOK SO IT WAS LITERALLY POINTLESS. I cant stand writers that bring personal beef onto their show and punish their characters for it... its stupid. I just cannot believe the show would treat Bellamy this way. Hes a fan favorite and hes had one of the best growths for any character on the series and hes the lead male (imo)... so to do him dirty like this and kill him this was is just.. so unnecessary. Def. going to my list of useless character deaths for my favorite characters.

i love how your reaction for this fucking horrible episode is the only one in the series that starts with a preview of THAT moment. and also i believe this is the shortest reaction of The 100 so far. the episode fucking deserves it bro, thank you.

Regardless to any circumstance led to this scenario it still a horrible ending for the show especially Bellamy's character , he deserved much better but apparently writers n production staff started a show they didn't know how to end so they came up with the worst season ever that ruined the whole previous seasons n all characters were done bad 💔💔💔 i wish i never watched it

Worst episode ever... I started watching the 100 when the very first episode was released and Bellamy was my character from the beginning... i can't explain how angry and shocked I was watching this nonsense... the 100 was one of my favorite tv shows ever, and it became absurd shit in the end

Bellamy aside, I really can't point to a single thing that makes sense about this season. Cadogan and Shitheda are probably the lamest villains I have ever seen in fiction and the fact that they LITERALLY DONT HAVE A PLAN yet things *somehow* go their way gives me a migraine

This is why I tried to convince you not to watch this show. This episode broke my heart and I refused to watch the final episodes after this.

a LOT of people quit after this episode.. I never cared about him but this was awful and disrespectful to the Bellarke shippers. And Clarke didn't even take that book! The whole killing spree was because of that notebook.. so Bellamy died for nothing.

This is the exact episode I stopped watching the 100 on 💀 like even then I was skipping episodes cuz I thought Bellamy died I was real hurt 🥲 I’m not even gonna watch any of it

Yeah don’t even think I finished watching the show after being a big fan the entire time the show ran. My disappointment? Effing ginormous. My heart? Broken. Jason is the worst show runner and unfortunately bobs injury had little to do with the outcome they chose to go with this late in the game. The way they made this show end is jus.. diarrhea

This episode just frustrates me so much, if the show just ended badly i could deal with it but this. This is so much worse.

a huge part of the fandom died the day this episoded aired. like some people really couldnt keep watching the show and i totally understand that. i look back to when lexa died and everyone was pissed, which is okay, but that death had a real impact and a bulid up. i mean i cant imagine how season 3 would go on if they didnt take out the flame from lexa's head. and clarke's influence on lexa led to titus wanting to shoot clarke (and missing). but with bellamy's death its like his character had no real impact on the season overall other than showing what the deciples believe in, which it could have been executed in a totally different way. and what should have left a hole in the characters left a hole in the fandom and the show partially died. also the ratings on the following episodes are really low, even lower than after lexa died.

Yeah there’s a reason why this is the lowest rated episode in the series. What a terrible way to send off a beveled character especially, the male lead of the show. It’s such a slap in the face for those who watched thus show for 7 years and got to witness his growth and character arc. I like to pretend this episode (and the season) don’t exist because it completely destroyed Bellamy’s character, Clarke’s character, and their bond that has been one of the biggest highlights of the show.

ultimantly yes it wasnt best execution but bob was having his own issues and wanted time offf so they changed script and he was not in alot of season ultimantly, dying in that way to end due to his personal reaons such as mental health, baby problems having misscarage and ultimantly resaulting in this and thats just way it goes u know things dont always go to plan but the ending to show is still beautiful.

I loved this episode, I thought the character progression of clarke was crazyy, in s4 when she couldn't make the decision to kill bellamy when he was trying to open the bunker, to now where she would do anything for the child that she loves, even killing her bestfriend, wilddddd, i hated bellamy because he was always doing some annoying ass bullshit "whatever the hell we want," pike, shepard, etc, he was a terrible character, and his death had me so happy, shocked, but happy. Great reaction as always jer! :)
