6:48 why is everyone so hung up on the book? it was never about the book. it was about what that book meant. the book meant that madi still had the memories of the past commanders. bellamy understood that those sketches meant that. so even if clarke had shot him in the leg, got the book, and left, what would have happened next? bellamy would have told bill about madi still having the memories and then he would have gone after her. clarke asking bellamy for the book was his chance to prove that he was still with her and that he wouldn't deliver her child to cadogan to do with her as he pleases. he didnt take her up on that chance so, in order to keep madi safe, she shot him. and if it hadn't been for sheidheda also knowing what it meant (which clarke didn't know), it would have worked out.

@ricardosilva56102 жыл бұрын
Oh, please. Clarke this and Clarke that when all she did was protecting her child. Bellamy left Clarke to be tortured by Cadogan. Literally one episode before his death. How could she trust that man with her child? And, again, the book: it was about the information. If no one knew what it meant (she thought Sheidheda was dead), Cadogan wouldn't know. It was Bellamy's choice to betray his friends and there was no time to sit with him and be all like "Please, Bellamy, please..." The bridge was closing. As Clarke showed in season 6 finale when she thought Sheidheda was taking over Madi completely and she put a gun to her head, threatening to kill herself: if Madi dies, she dies because there's no one left for her that is important enough for her to want to live. So it's only Madi, the person who spent more than six years with her (she met Bellamy for six months before Praimfaya II - maybe a year in the whole time of the show).

It was the life of her most important person, her daughter, on the line. And there was no time since the bridge was closing. He chose this. If he died, as far as she knew, no one else would know what the drawings meant (she thought Sheidheda was dead). So would you really play with your child's life and put your trust on someone who was "okay" with you being tortured an episode ago?
@Lorenatpwk2 жыл бұрын
I'm not saying it was Clarkes fault, cause it really wasn't, it's just bad writing, alone the fact that Bellamy just watched while Clarke was being tortured, makes no sense. First he talks about wanting to save her, and then he literally allows them to potentially kill her, there's no logic behind that. Even with him being brainwashed. And I still don't believe Clarke would've liked him, she never killed any of her friends, not even Octavia in season 5 who was well, we all know what was going on back them. My point is, Clarke may kill people she doesn't really know or care about quickly, BUT she cares deeply about her friends and family, so she wouldn't just kill them in one second. And more than that, that death is just badly written, you can't just kill off a original-main character like that. That's just lazy writing. Oh, and don't even get me started on Octavias and Echos reaction. So, I'm not blaming Clarke for anything, her and Bellamys character just got dragged through the mud, and that's all Jasen Rothenbergs fault. I won't blame any of that on the characters, cause all that in the last few eps was just straight up out of character

Unfortunately, the way they rewrote this arc and fit it in near the end makes it feel more rushed than bad, in my view. This sort of turn needs more time than they had, to be effective... so it becomes something to just step over, like Bellamy's body. Personally, I don't watch The 100 for Bellamy, didn't miss him this season at all. Have zero problem with Clarke killing him for her child, regardless of how it went anyway. BUT... I do feel there should have been a better payoff for the Blake siblings. Similar to what Abby had with Raven before she died. And more of mourning goodbye for losing him.
