The core of Lyft's business model is taking a cut of transactions without any real capital investment on their part. They offload all those responsibilities to their drivers. Does Lyft really want to completely pivot to purchasing, operating, and maintaining a large fleet of extra expensive vehicles? Color me skeptical.

Uber and Lyft will both litterally go out of business once Tesla introduces their robo taxi service. They might survive a few years while Tesla ramps up the number of vehicles. The math is the math and as long as both those companies pay a driver and Tesla doesn’t, there is only one outcome.

Yeah, but how is Tesla going to beat Waymo without using LiDaR? There’s a lot of doubt when there’s a lot of flaws in Tesla’s autopilot

There is no such thing as math is math in business. You have no idea behind the scenes of Uber and how complex it is to get to their level. Keep buying Tesla at a 130 forward PE and I will buy Uber.
