My dad is one of the best trainers in my country and he said if kids from 7 to 13 lift more than their body weight they will get weaker than you would be if you lifted less or equel to ur body weight and if you also do it too much you will also be weaker.... so you should do less or equal to ur body weight and do it like 2 to 3 hours a day

Ok, for all the people commenting about how this will affect her height and all that LET ME EXPLAIN If the trainer is professional and knows what he/she is doing, the lifting shouldn’t affect her growth and development. If the trainer gives a 12 year old weights that are like 5 times her body weight obviously it will be detrimental but the coaches and the girl know what they’re doing. It’s like gymnastics, as a gymnast myself, I think the training gymnasts do is more harmful to your growth and development than lifting. If this is what Brooklyn wants to do, she shouldn’t let these non-educated people on the internet stop her, you go Brooklyn, you are amazing 💖

Nipulkrad Msinatagras actually it’s not a myth. I’ll suppose you know that babies are born with more bones than a regular adult. Well that means when you grow your bones will get more closer and closer. When you lift that much weight you are just pushing the bones to be closer faster than normal, and that’s why you will not be that tall as other kids (i’m sorry for my english)

She's gonna feel any bad form by the time she hits 18 (when post-growth spurt HGH levels drop significantly from adolescence ) if she pushes herself too hard, which is pretty easy with crossfit. Unless she's got an insane decompressing yoga & stretching she's not showing us, id say she burns out by 19
