I know, I only have 388 BHP on my S3 Quattro (2017 model). It's 1400 KGs and still manages 0-60 in 3.5 seconds with launch control, but my power falls off (compared to lower speeds) once I get past 80 MPH, so I can't imagine how quick this feels.

Brillant car and owner. Lovely to watch it. State side the 2000 to 3000 hp versions of the tuned R35s have been doing the quarter in 6.5 secs for some time. With the right mods this car is the king of the drag strip. I remember when it knocked the Porche Turbo off the leader board on the Nurburgring all those years ago and the Nismo managed 7.07 in the past on the ring which is highly respectable. It is a icon. A classic. Nothing like it. A one off car.

Ricky took me on test drive through London in an endless owned midnight purple GTR that I was going to buy from him and his brother for £15k (financial mistake) at that same time almost 10 years ago. He had an R32 at the time and I remember him saying about the R35. Still seems the same knowledgeable, funny, certi driver that he was back then.

Man that´s not just one handful of car! And that´s what is peak tuning for me. It delivers in terms of raw power but that´s just the foundation. A well tuned car should still drive well and work properly, as much stock-alike as possible and desired. And this guy nailed it. And yes if you want to put this stupid amount of power down and transform it into speed and not just smoke you gotta take care of some things like how the power comes on. You gotta give the tyres some time to load up and settle instead of just immeadiately overloading them. Just anazing how consistent this beast pulls time after time, that´s some serious effort gone into this car which a lot of people don´t want to put in and the cars don´t perform. Love to see people being passionate about what they do and giving their best!

~The memories~ This reminds me of my Nissan R35 GTR that I had. I decided to go down AMS performance package route and got AMS to pop in an Alpha 16 package in it. Similar power to what Ricky has in his. Beautiful car instead and out. To this day, I still wonder if the person I sold it to still has it or he has wrapped it around a pole.
