I broke the second gear shift fork on one. After they pulled a piece of metal the size of my thumb out of the gearbox it continued to shift fine. When I traded it in it was sold with an inspection that could not detect the broken shift fork and sold as “never launched” on the add by the dealer. I disclosed both the broken shift fork and the hundred times I launched it. In other words, don’t trust inspections and dealers/owners, just accept it’s been driven hard and continue to drive it the same.

There are only 934 Australian Delivered R35s from 2009 to 2023 in total according to GTR Registry. The rest are grey imports (probably about 1000 ?) & you should really take care if buying an import.
