Notts supporter here. He's everything you say he is and, when we played against him, he was popping up everywhere.

As a walsall fan, I don't like the idea he's carrying the team because he isn't. He is playing amazing and doing everything we could ask from him, his striker instinct is amazing and he has learnt how to play in the division with his physical play. But for most of the game, he doesn't do much which he shouldn't as he is a striker. If it wasn't for the other 10 amazing players on the pitch feeding him and helping him out, such as Matt as his partner or barret and gordon as his main assister. He is definitely a main feature in why we are where we are but I've always hated that the only ones who get the credit are the ones who score the goals.
@fallenmaniac805228 күн бұрын
@@Stackhouse02 Completely agree with what you've put. He is a very important part of a talented and hard working squad; however, there have been matches where Lowe has scored goals, but players like Stirk, Williams, Okagbue, Allen, Gordon, Barrett, and Simkin have won the game by being incredible defensively. Not to mention that Taylor Allen, primarily a centre-back, has as many goal contributions as some team's star strikers. I think you could easily take a deep-dive into a number of our players and make an argument on how they are "carrying" the team to an extent. Going by the quality of recruitment over the past year, I'm sure that if Lowe for whatever reason did leave before the winter transfer window closed, we'd have a list of players that would be more than capable of stepping into the team and carrying on from where Lowe left off.

Walsall fan. It has been brilliant watching him develop this season. He is a star of the future but he is not close to being ready for the Championship just yet. Stoke will have a hell of a striker in a couple of seasons but for now and for his continued development he couldnt be at a better place than Walsall.
@timaddison70728 күн бұрын
The loan move has been excellent for him, he also turned around a disappointing start when he missed a penalty in his firs game! that shows real character! Let's hope he keeps improving and can make an impact for Stoke next season!
@MagicManFan28 күн бұрын
He's scored some great goals, but it's all based around his partnership with Matt and the fact we play to his strengths, with creativity from all angles, and a great understanding with his team mates. He won't get that elsewhere immediately, and going back to Stoke, or elsewhere will slow his progress. 30 goals and a Championship medal is what he wants. Then he can try L1 with Walsall next season.

I think he's going to Stoke to replace Tom Cannon. A player loan from Leicester.
@MagicManFan20 күн бұрын
@LucifersLandLord He's not going to Stoke. He's their player. My point remains. Stoke play a lone striker system. Whilst Lowe is probably capable of that, and is quite physical, it's a lot to ask of a young player,m especially at two levels higher.

Never remove a player when he is in form, especially as he is only 19, is future is bright and a season in league 2 will only make him a more confident striker, David Beckham, Harry Kane and many more top players had season long loans in the lower divisions, not saying Lowe is of there Quality but the youngster needs to start somewhere so why not League 2
@Sausage195828 күн бұрын
As a Stoke fan, I hope he sees the season out with you. If you get promoted, I hope he stays on loan. If not, he will need a league one loan to see how he fares at the higher level. He's not ready for the championship just yet.

Nothing to do with our amazing centre backs and keeper who have kept 12 clean sheets in 23 games? Ryan stirk running the midfield? Jellis and Lakin with their pressing running teams into the ground? The kid unreal but don’t be fooled that we’re a 1 man team. Williams, simkin, lowe, stirk, allen, barratt will all go on and play at a way higher level than league2.

With so many foreign managers, there is little future for British players. They will always prefer overseas players.
@bryanbadonde948427 күн бұрын
They don't always prefer foreign players just because they're foreign. It's a numbers game. Football is global and there are 55 million English people to choose from and 8 BILLION foreign people to choose from! So of course it is easier to find a good non-English player for whatever position they're looking for than it is to find an English one. Not to even mention the Domestic Player Tax on transfer fees and higher wage expectations. Same goes for managers. It's just maffs bro.
