I think this is Matty trying to show all the TikTokers etc that he sees them all! Nearly everything in this vid is him referencing what fans (and maybe some non-fans) say about him on social media. Eg: those who don't get him saying he's drunk/on drugs in his performances so needing to hide away from the fame, the "finkin this frew" in the mirror (Americans often pick up on this accent!), him being a nepo-baby, him being 'short enough' to fit inside the case 😉😆 and the "I hate Matty Healy" thing - with him saying he'd hate him too etc... It's the irony of Matty interviewing a guy who's chosen to put all his personal life issues out there in the public domain and call it art... this is juxtaposed (see what I did there?!😉) with Matty just wanting to perform his art but by the fame default, has had a lot of his own personal life picked up and inspected, trashed and he too has hurt loved ones/people he knows along the way... And all this is then wrapped up with a tonne of humour added in, just in the right doses to keep this little short entertaining and a true reflection of the many sides to this band - from serious musicians to mucking about lads having a laugh!!👏🙌❤😊xx
