Here are the two easiest techniques to throw pancakes with a cast net. The first is throwing from the shoulder, perfect for larger nets. The second is a quick easy arm throwing technique, great for smaller nets.

Great vid. I have got two new large nets now, that I made redundant a few years ago, because they were too heavy. You are the only KZbinr that I have seen, that uses two methods for different size and weight nets. Good onya

Gary Wilkes thanks for the feedback mate! Yeah I just find it more efficient to use the two techniques 👍 glad you got something out of the vid!

Great demo, nice technique! I use a similar method, but instead of putting part of the net over my shoulder, I place it in my teeth, it works. I wish you could show us how to through the net a further distance using your method....

Just a question what would be the ideal size cast net for a 12 year old beginner?
@SammyHitzkeFishing5 жыл бұрын
mate I reckon a 6 or 7ft net would be a good place to start. as you get taller and stronger you find the bigger nets easier to throw. but while your still learning a smaller one would be the go I reckon
