I really enjoyed watching Daniel's visit with Dr Amen. I was worried about what Daniel said about a deep trauma to go back to when acting, his morning depression, and the 3 concussions that he had playing soccer. I LOVE Daniel's dark roles such as Lorenzo de Medici, but I hope those roles didn't make him more depressed in real life since they require so much emotional investment. Luckily, it sounds like his depression is potentially improving since he is learning to control it better. I'm a huge fan of his and I really really want him to be happy. I'm so glad he's seeking professional help.

There is a quote by Sir Winston Churchill and he said that (Sucess is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts... Keep up the good work lads and love you 🤟

I get choked up watching this video. So brave of you to share your troubles with the world. I’m in awe of the self discipline, self awareness, the determination to find out root causes, the generosity to share what you’ve learned with others.

I didn’t know Daniel battled depression 😔,, So many people it seems go through this ugly, monstrous disease that robs us of having a meaningful, quality Life! 💔. To the point that there’s no joy in anything we do. One of the Worst feelings. It’s really brave of the Lads to put themselves out there & discuss they’re emotions & difficulties like the rest of us even though they’re actors & famous . & people tend to put those people on a pedestal & forget they struggle with these things too

We do appreciate from you two sharing something that’s really personal and intimate for you lads. You must know that you serve as an inspiration to many taking the step forward to acknowledge what you have been through and positively taking action to mend and care for your mental health which is very timely in the midst of this pandemic. Thank you again lads for using your platforms and “status-to-influence” to a better purpose and to Doc Amen for the great support and using “laymen’ terms” so they could easily be understood. 😉👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

2Lads should host a mental health workshop, maybe somewhere in the desert or mountains, that would be amazing! Would love to take part of something like that 🧠 🌱💗

Exclude the word problem from your vocabulary - replace it with the word challenge. Your life will become more exciting and interesting. Thanks for this episode. Very interesting. I found Dr. D. Amen and I am buying his books. Great.

I've been enjoying the poscast so far, It's intresting to see things from the male point of view and refreshing to see how honest you both are. It would be intresting if you could do an episode on family or health. Excited to see more

I think the best thing people with depression and anxiety can do is live in the present moment. Appreciate each sip of the day instead of thinking how much you can wring from it. From the first sip of good coffee in the morning -to the last conscientious breath before sleeping in a safe and comfortable environment. That way each day and each night ends with positivity instead of negativity. I also think when things don't go the way we hope or plan them to that people tend to label the turn of events as bad. The unexpected isn't necessarily bad, we just have to adapt to the change in the present. When one stops to think about what went differently they only need to ask themselves if there still hope to get what they want another time. I am interested in knowing the differences of genders to aknowledge and accept where these differences come from. I wish any of my male friends cared enough to delve into these conversations so I could have their honest insight but they prefer gaming, drinking, and sporting. In a way I am glad because I also believe the more you dig -the deeper you get, but the bigger the pile of dirt gets behind you.

I didn't even realise that was controversial, i thought everyone knew that was the case. Also because in many cases transgender individuals have been shown to have brain development closer to their gender rather than their birth sex. We can be whoever we want to be, gender roles aren't guidelines, we just have to put more effort into activating the parts of our brains we want to use but extra effort never killed anybody.

Thank you for sharing this and speaking about your own personal mental health issues. I’ve dealt with anxiety and depression, also PTSD most of my life. And I typically used alcohol and drugs to medicate myself.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28: " Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Let me tell you, there is no one and nothing that will ever give you peace but only Jesus Christ. Yes, drugs can get you hyper for a moment but it won't help you in the long run. plus, it will hurt your well-being. People will promise to help you but there was never and will never be anyone who will say " come to me and I will give you rest" only Christ our Lord and saviour gives rest and he has promised it to us, himself. I am the living testimony. I found peace in him. The World talks a lot about happiness but little about peace. and if there something missing in humanity today, is peace of mind. PEACE. Bless you all!
