Do you but the sabiki on a separate rod? If so would a 7’ medium fast action be just fine? I’m moving to sd from southern Texas, trying to figure out what light tackle inshore gear will be worthwhile to bring with me

Honestly I just use a cheap medium rod and cheap real for my sabiki. Medium action stuff for la jolla and light stuff for the bay🤘
