I feel terrible for Lonzo and his injuries. Not only for his basketball career, but his life going forward. He's gonna have much more mobility issues much earlier than he should because of all this. Maybe they can get him back into playing shape at some point, but imagine what he'll be like at 40, 50 years old.

My theory is that Lavar worked him out too hard as a kid. And this was before the fame so there was no pro facilities. Lavar had that kid getting it in, in the driveway, in the street, on some Press Maravich shi but Lavar wasn’t even the coach anywhere with a gym at his disposal. I had a first hand look at Lonzo transforming his game during that one year with Stan Van Gundy. Stan really took a liking to Lonzo and played in a Rec league with Lavar Ball. Stan really helped Lonzo improve his handles and coached him to be a spot up wing in the half court who could flash the full court point guard skills when he helped secure takeaways. Man Lavar Balls training regiment of Lonzo growing up is what ruined his knees, the stuff he had him doing was completely unessicary for a basketball player. And when he posted himself lifting weights that technique was terrible and incredibly unsafe as far a ligament damage goes. He has some bad workout habits and it starts with Lavar I don't know how he was a physical trainer teaching bs like that
@GriefingGamer Жыл бұрын
Facts I think Melo playing ball in Lithuania and Australia early on when he was still young asf helped him develop better workout habits than Lonzo, in Ball in the Family you can see Lithuania made sure Melo was always well taken care of especially when he was shooting up in height and making sure he didn’t get himself injured while growing

It was a pretty weird draft, in the end. Fultz has been a player I've found very interesting his whole career. Lot of buzz about him, then the whole mystery, but even when he was with the 76ers, I saw flashes of real potential that, I feel, were a bit crushed and tempered by Simmons, and he needed to get out of that shadow (or, the at the time unthinkable, Simmons be moved). Watching him play for the Magic, even a couple years ago, he showed real progress and a growing confidence, and is one of my fave players to watch these days. The amazing thing is, aside from Fox and maybe White, you'd say nobody really jumps out: Fox is the only superstar kinda player at the moment, but a couple could make the leap, yet aside from that, there are a lot of good level starter quality players for teams running the 4-8 range in a conference, or a very solid 3rd or 4th option on a contender, far outstripping the 2020 draft, IMO.
