It definitely helps a lot! My grandmother couldn’t put the top down without it too. For me in my Miata though, I just say “convertible hair, don’t care.” I also pretty much have a high and tight though hahaha 😄 Also, thanks for checking out my video. Super-cool you convinced your Gramma to pop for an Audi A5 Cabrio..! Down-Lo, Bro..! Sweet car...thinking about getting one next! Is that Cape Cod sliding by in the background..? If so...perfect choice of car and Gramma for that location. Have summers full of fun! I think an A5/S5 Cab Quattro is definitely my next car!!

@Grant Stanfield She actually wanted this car and picked it out herself! Of course I helped her with the car-buying process, but I was actually trying to convince her to get an Audi S5 Cabriolet, a Miata ND convertible, or even a Mustang GT California Special Convertible. She eventually decided that this particular A5 was best for her at the time. She essentially wanted a pretty, white luxury convertible. She thinks the A5 is a beautiful car, as do I. However, she finds the complicated setup confusing with so many buttons, switches and features. And yes, you are correct, I filmed this is Falmouth, Mashpee and Bourne. It is an amazing car for ripping around town on the cape during the summer (or the even winter too for that matter because it is in fact AWD after all). If you get one though, let me know how it goes and what you think of it! I appreciate you checking out my video. I also hope it helped you get a good perspective on the car. Good luck, Grant!

I will probably buy one (the 2022 model, since there is no informationat all regarding a possible replacement) and the only thing that makes me "anxious" is the lag in the turbo response time: some other videos mention that this turbo response time is too long...

Yes, I guess we will see what happens with the A5 lineup in the future. I very much agree with the others that the turbo lag FEELS quite long though. I think this is purely because the car really doesn't have that much power overall (248HP at 5,000 RPMs and 273 lb-ft of torque at 1,600 RPMs). This is also in a 3,990 lb car, and it takes the whole rev range for that power to build up to 5,000 RPMs. However, with the max torque hitting at just 1,600 RPMs, you would think that there would be absolutely ZERO lag, right?.. Based on those numbers, I honestly think it's actually not necessarily laggy, it's just not that fast due to the weight-to-power ratio, as well as the potential AWD drivetrain loss.

Hey man I was just watching your Ford fusion SELV6 review, and in it you were saying that you have to use your aux cord to listen to music, but your car does have Bluetooth audio, it’s through the sync system. It sounds great on my 2009 Ford fusion SE. Once your phone is paired you just have to select media stream, or use the sync button on the steering well and say Bluetooth audio

I totally see what you are saying. And I now know exactly why my phone doesn't work with it... It's paired to my grandmother's phone lol I do wish that plugging in a USB cable could override that system though. Anyway thanks for the insight!

Double Clutch Auto Reviews Oh you can go in there and also pair your phone, it works really well and it will just find your phone when you use it, or when you turn on the car, the menus are kind a hard to navigate but there is a little sync instruction manual supplement in the glove box that is very intuitive, good luck
