Hard agree on Nona. Her unwavering belief in the sanctity of friendship is somehow inhumanly admirable and yet believable. This was really creative! I really loved it! I didn't read too many releases from 2019. But Burning White was my favorite. The entire Lightbringer series was great. Androse Ghile was one of my favorite characters of all time. I'm reading the Broken Earth trilogy right now.

As a fellow huge fan of WoT who was one of those who waited 22 years to see how it ended I really want to recommend Melanie Rawn's Dragon Prince series to you. It's the closest thing i've read (and i've read ALOT of fantasy) that checks all the same boxes and has the same immersive giant world of amazingly fleshed out characters that sucks you in and holds you tight right to the bitter end that WoT does.
