I got to participate in a Mercedes Benz invitational in Victoria Canada that they put on to show the abilities of the all new ML class back in 2000 or 1999. I can't remember the exact year. It was so fun getting to ride passenger as the Mercedes drivers thrashed on the new SUV. They also had all the competitors and we got to ride in them in a off-road course to prove how much better the ML was and it was way better. The thing that stuck out the most is when they perched all the different SUVs on a dirt mound that made it flex the body to the max where one wheel isn't even on the ground. They would proceed to open the rear hatches with the body flexed and the ML was the only SUV able to close it's hatch with the body flexed! When they tried it on the Range rover the hatch wouldn't even open 😃

Go to drive an SQ7 with ceramic brakes, active anti roll bars, rear sport differentials, 22' wheels, sport air suspensions or even a basic Q7 3.0 TFSI 333hp (that can be equipped with the same optionals). It's as sporty as a base cayenne 340 hp, that, btw, is 30 kg heavier than the 5 seats audi Q7 3.0 TFSI 333hp.

I had a 2011 Ford Taurus with interior ambient lighting. The same button that changed the colors also shut the ambient lighting off if and when I wanted to.

He had the temperature at 60. MBUX raises the temperature 5 degrees when you say you are cold. So if the temperature was 65, it would reset it to 70, and so on. I know this type of technology is a lot for the commentators still trying to upgrade from their 1998 Honda Civics, so I hope this helps!!

syxepop yes, they do .. last week I was at Mercedes and looked at the old GLE, looked nice because it had AMG trim and was well equipped but it had a 250 motor, but they are really rare here in Germany, so I was quite surprised! I always thought it started at 300 or 350. We also have the C Class as 160 and 180 model 😴

My grandfather has a weird obsession with the Mercedes M-Class/GLE. He bought one every 2 years since 2008 and never bought any other vehicle, although he's been a Mercedes only owner since the 90s. I believe he currently has this model in black. He's 92 now and a retired engineer, he said its the only way to enjoy his savings by having a new vehicle all the time.

I really like the design. It's nothing too crazy, certainly not something you'd turn your head around for, but it's extremely fitting for this kind of car. It allows the car to bounce up and down to unstuck itself from sand and there is even an option to move the height on each individual wheel. Look it up. They had a cool demonstration on it.

I always find it funny how Americans always ask for more power from their cars and don't really go more than 70-75 mph top speed on the highway, which is about 115-120 km/h. And in Europe people drive much less powerful cars, and usually go around 150-170km/h on the highway which is about 95-110mph.
