I sold Porsche in Montreal for 2 years and my almost favorite car was the Cayman S but it was gutless back in 2006-2007 BUT TODAY it's my all time favourite sports car. I know we'll never get a rational explanation for the scoring system, but when he says practicality has to be a 2 because it's 2 seats... makes no sense. BTW while you were driving it down the highway I noticed it has the most beautiful exhaust notes. You can actually hear that they somehow tuned the exhaust so that it's generating a fundamental frequency and maybe a third or 5th above it. Amazing.

Friend got his GT4 a month ago and I took it out. Ordered mine next day, it arrives in around August, top spec including the overpriced ceramics and bucket seats. It's the most exceptional car I've ever driven and the manual gearbox is sublime.

My hypothesis on blank switches is, it’s to allow for further modifications and buttons add through aftermarket, that way you have a neat convenient place to put buttons and switches.

I drove a 2014 981 Cayman S on the track at the Porsche World Road Show along with a 992 and a 992 4S . That track day convinced me that the 981 S was for me. Never looked back. My PCA friends thought I was nuts to buy the 981 S. It is not always about 0-60 but the dance on the twisties.
