This is a video of a true story separated into four parts, one plays per week.
We will actually see and follow a real meteorite search from start to finish led by Larry Atkins, an experienced meteorite hunter from Michigan, USA.
Stefano Pando is the host of this video, a meteorite enthusiast that has come all the way from Montreal, Canada, to meet with Larry Atkins. He will learn from Larry the skills and the know-how’s for finding meteorites on the soil of a desert land.
Throughout this four part video, Larry Atkins will unveil his knowledge and reveal his secrets from his experience and longtime run of meteorite hunting. We will see Larry handling a productive meteorite hunt, and best of all, the footage is taken in real time where the hunt is taken place.
Meanwhile by chance and coincidence in Arizona, as they were both enjoying time in the desert, they heard over the news that a fireball had fallen over the Prescott area earlier on during that day which dates to the 16th of February 2020. Larry chooses to take action so we got out to search for that meteorite with two radar returns from two liable sources. That could be an opportunity for us to be the first ones to find this fresh new fallen meteorite. Who knows? What are the odds? So this gave us a new angle to our meteorite trip, the possibility of finding a meteorite from a fresh fall, and that may come only once in a lifetime for most of us.
Take this video as educative on the subject, for in all four videos parts there are important lessons for understanding the ways of meteorite hunting.
