I’m glad someone else finally said that the stiffer the chassis the better off-road (which I’ve been saying for ages). Others keep harping on about their body on frame designs which are all twisty whereas the Land Rover is a monocoque and is much much stiffer than any body on frame design. You don’t want flex in a car especially off-roading.

It's a Range Rover city car, does well with a bit of off-roading, it's the ground-clearance, wheels & tyres that limit it. If you drive into a big city, it handles that well, it's not too big or too wide to fit down a narrow lane or duck & dive in traffic or find a spot big enough to park it...

@evaflintironstag93565 жыл бұрын
There is an irony to me about including elaborate off-road electronic technology on a vehicle that really isn't capable of doing any serious off-roading. The clearance is unimpressive and the approach, departure, and breakover angles aren't good. And you can expect the car to fully lift off the ground on uneven terrain because the suspension has no travel. Also, those tires are just not appropriate for rough terrain. That isn't to say this wouldn't be a nice car for some people who need a daily driver, but I don't see how it can be called off-road worthy. Technology doesn't make up everything else. If anything it could give people a false sense of confidence that winds them up in trouble.
