Unfortunately this might be true. Nonetheless the stock will be much better than the FormD T1. I am actually surprised, that it isn't a collab between FormD and Lian Li, since I haven't heard ncere to be involved, just W360 and some people he got together.
@M1.Designer3 жыл бұрын
Just to add some clarification: the Meshlicious is the result of a collaboration between one of Lian Li's designers and the co-founder of NCASE (who is also the founder of FormD, w360mod, and SFFlab). He handles the business and logistics for NCASE, while the M1 was 100% my work (as the other NCASE co-founder and designer). I have no involvement with the Meshlicious or any of the other mentioned projects. Furthermore, I believe the Meshlicious will be produced in volume and distributed through Lian Li's normal channels (Newegg etc.), so availability should be good. In contrast, the M1 is shipped direct to customers from Lian Li's factory in Taiwan, while the FormD T1 ships direct from China.

@@CalasMusic There’s also the issue of the input/output port being placed in one of the poorest positions possible, requiring you to have HDMI/display port cables with a 90 degree bend since it has no clearance for regular cables. And it’s even more of a nightmare if you want to connect multiple monitors to the Meshlicious. At that point, you’re gonna have to settle for an HDMI/display port hub instead of directly connecting your monitors to the I/O port. In my opinion, this is one of the biggest bummers that knocks the Meshlicious from being nearly perfect. It’s a slight inconvenience that kinda forces people to shell out additional cash to fix

Its an an amazing case with some setbacks Positives. 1. All mesh airflow king! Great thermals when water-cooled and possible when air-cooled but IDK without seeing examples. 2. Looks awesome and clean 3. Vertical profile is super space saving great for those whole want it out of sight and or have a small desk or tv stand. 4. Rear I/O panels is great compared to some vertical cases (except the GPU) 5. Price is nice compared to some other SFF cases that come with a possibly problematic proprietary PSU Negatives 1. Pre-order only...this should hopefully resolve. 2. TG is standard instead of mesh on GPU side, not ideal for temps. and adjusting MB tray back is the solution. 3. MB tray moved back to allow GPU clearance causes limited or no air cooling possibility. 4. Requires right angled HDMI or DP cable. Connecting multiple monitors will be hard with those angles cables. 5. Proprietary PCIE4 adapter looks fragile and likely pricey to replace. 6. GPU length limitation might mean no higher end Nvidia cards. Every SFF case will have their own drawbacks based on the size limitation. Im not hating on this case and I actually was considering this case and possibly returning the NR200, but the compromises with the NR200 were owns I personally found in my situation more tolerable. -Thanks for showing us this case and your build in it! -

Now I want to see testing around this.

yeh the pcie cable is my biggest issue otherwise the case looks solid

What's wrong with the regular pcie cables?

@@daemonbyte How about the rear io for the graphics card? doesnt look like you could use more than 1 monitor unless youre drilling holes through your desk

There's an all new Velka 5 that I would love to see a review for. Velkcase redesigned all of their cases this year and inserted a new case into the line up.

great case, but there's no chance in hell I'll buy a case with that name

I'd definitely be more into this case if they had done like the Velka 7 and made GPU extension ports so all your ports could be on the rear. It is nice to see more cases like this hitting mass production though.

I'm so excited to order this case! Finally put the motherboard that I won from this channel late last year to use! My Big Shuriken 3 arrived yesterday. Thanks again Ali!

Pre-order are open. For now this first batch had tempered glass. Ships in March. Second batch will have full mesh option in April. A pcie 4.0 riser is available.

I just get floored with every case review you do buddy. You give every Fricken detail you need to know AND manage to videograph it beautifully and edit it seamlessly. Keep rocking- that mainstream market is coming this way if not already with potential NR200 buyers already checking out your work there.

I'll give you one major negative for people like me, who cares a little about exterior design...this is the most boring looking itx case I have ever seen...it is so ugly that I would recommend it to hide into closet or somewhere else...

Hi Optimum / Ali ! Great video, absolutely loved the clean b roll shots with the ambient neon lighting, you're killing it with the content! May I ask what lighting you're using to achieve such a clean, crisp and attractive looking b roll? Your cinematic videos never cease to amaze me Thanks for your time

For me, the biggest issue is the twisted riser cable... I don't know why, but the cable didn't naturally fit on my 3080 Ti. Also, a DP 1.4 adapter is missing, the HDMI is totally useless. Screw are also bad quality and threads broke several times for no reason. But I love the fact that a good design, just with 2 fans of the AIO, you can do better than the whole casing industry did in 30 years. 😅

I can definitely say I'll hate having to use 2 right angle displayport adapters to use 2 monitors, I know there would be interference issues.

not enough clearance for the rear GPU output ports: beside the adapter, take something that make the skirting high enough for your display port :P
