While the #Hummer brand has been absent for over a decade, GMC has finally decided to revive the nameplate for 2022. The #HummerEVPickup is now known as the #GMCHummerEV for this rebirth and unlike its predecessor, this #ElectricSuperTruck kicks gas to the curb with the largest battery pack ever fitted to a production vehicle, and when using launch control, allows this heavy beast to accelerate to 60 MPH quicker than most supercars while getting up to 350 miles on a full charge.

These are great! If you get one, educate yourself how to do things like open the hood and reset the computer if the system locks up if needed… as more than a few have needed that info. 🤣 There are some very humorous videos here on KZbin of this happening.

I am OK with the plastics in the Hummer. How so? Its because plastics are light, don't fade in sunlight over time, and its durable. Even if its $112,000 I am on with the interior the way it is.

Some of the negatives mentioned are nothing new for a vehicle of this type: the Wrangler/Gladiator has the same issues with sound and squeaking from the removable roof so it's not exactly a GM issue, waterproofing the interior obviously is not going to allow the most luxurious of interiors, big tires are going to roar.

I do like it but what’s the point of it? It’s tremendously heavy. It’s got a ton of power even without it’s launch control mode. So it makes it dangerous for a lot of people and weight, it’s range is atrocious when hooked up to a trailer and insanely expensive. It’s for sure unique and cool but I think it’s a pointless vehicle.
