The ST comes with the M8 117ci too over the special only having the 114. That alone is worth the extra MSRP along with what you mentioned about better lean angle due to shorter bags and raised suspension. I'm picking up my 2022 RGST next week and am super excited!

It's a great machine and all the models are great. The batwing fairing you'll love after one day. Limits head buffering alot while hi way riding. Nothing beats the bike in my opinion in terms of performance, look, styling and overall quality. I love my Street Glide special I've had for a year.

It takes some getting use to sitting behind all that plastic. I came from a naked bike to that and it took me awhile to get use to it. Now, I love it. I got me a hammock seat with backrest from Harley, because the stock seat sucks for the passenger so that’s why I got the hammock and my wife loves it. Me and her can go all day on that thing.

The first time I rode the street glide special was shocked myself on the light and nimble feeling of these 800 lbs beasts. It's amazing how it's so bottom heavy that you feel no weight on the top. When I compare it to moto Guzzi MGX21 that Italian twin let's you feel the weight at all times

Hey motojitsu you should test ride a low rider ST it’s the new performance bagger on a softail low rider frame, handles amazing and can do anything, the only bike I’ll ever need and it doesn’t weigh* as much as the other bigger baggers

I got a HD Road King simply because I don’t like the high faring on the Street Glides and Ultra Glide’s. Going from a sports bike to a Harley, I was surprised how well my Road King handled the twisties. I also have a HD Heritage softail. That one is lower and I scrape the foot boards in the twisties.

Just happened upon this video - really enjoyed it. Good all round review! I take it that the SG ST is a lot more manageable when coming to a stop (traffic lights etc…) compared to the GS because of the lower seat height, even though it’s a heavier bike?

Road Glide ST is life changing. Better with the wind cause the ferring doesn't move with the bars. Less wobble with high winds. I have the 2021 road Glide special, my husband has the new ST in black. Soooo much more fun to ride. Moves effortlessly, very light, agile. AMAZING!! I LOVE HIS MORE. 🤣 BUT mine is prettier! @@haroldyazzie3538 when you do 400 miles in the rain at 50° you’ll appreciate the fairing and hand warmers on the ultra limited. Even if I just rode around town I don’t think I’d give up my touring bike and all of the bells and whistles. It’s easy to ride and it’s comfortable. At times I wish I didn’t have the windshield when it’s 100° and going slow through town but it’s usually temporary

I like the look of the batwing, but I've heard riding with that fork mounted fairing is problematic in crosswinds. As far as the plastic in front of your face, I think the design is due to fact most harley riders wear 1/2 shells or no helmet in states where it's permitted.

I was a Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, KTM dealer and spent a large percentage of my life, perpetuating the BS myth’s about HD’s. I sold out in 2007 and my wife informed me I was buying her an HD the weekend after my sale went through. In short HD’s Big cruisers are so much better than the asian big cruisers they they are really not in the same league. One side note to that though is I don’t believe there could be a company more miss managed than HD. I also bought myself my first R1200GS that same weekend and make no mistake they are the best bike ever made.

Good looking bike, except the... how should I call it? Dashboard? It obstructs almost all the view ahead. And there is another thing I saw also on Goldwing and RTs, and I find questionable: the speakers. When riding there are a few things not compatible to listen anything on speakers: engine noise, wind noise and the helmet. If I want to listen something it would be more practical to have an audio system on the helmet. However, IMO, driving a car, or riding a motorcycle, even a bicycle, in trafic, on road, highway, etc. needs the use of all the senses and attention. I find that listening to music can limit the capacity to hear what's going on around, and listening to radio or talking on the phone can be distracting. Anyway, I really think that today's radio programs as any other mass media are generally uninteresting BBN (Bullshit Broadcasting Network as a nice youtuber says). So, sorry but that audio system with speakers on the "dashboard", IMO is useless. Also, if there is that big touchscreen fitted, then I wonder why there are still these huge analogue indicators there? Otherwise, nice bike, I would never buy something like this...
