Zappe had a genuine shot to nab the starting spot permanently it feels like, just didn't play well enough although he was decent I will not stand for the Western Kentucky Hilltopper slander though 😤😤 D1 babeyyy (just from a significantly weaker conference than most players come from)

The main thing I noticed is that Zappe either had wide open receivers every play or his receivers would actually win the 50/50 ball. Mac Jones threw the same 50/50 ball but it always was incomplete or intercepted and his receivers never got separation.

Great season. Not a fan of the bad roughing the passer calls and there were some nasty concussion issues throughout the season but overall great year. I feel like every team had at least a few moments where they could feel good. It was interesting how many rookies stepped up big time this year including the many rookie QBs who all had their time (except Malik and IIRC Corral)
