I drive a 2004 Honda pilot with 250k miles and it still drives good and shifts pretty smooth. If you have money I wouldn't go just on fancy gadgets that other suvs have and definitely get a pilot or a Toyota sequoia

I'd buy this just for the full-size spare tire. A “cookie” spare is also nice, but most brands are getting cheaper and they only give you a bottle of fix-a-flat that doesn't do anything but a mess.

I was just in the market for a 3 row suv and after test driving the usual suspects (Highlander, Mazda cx90, Kia telluride, Hyundai palisade) I ended up getting the Honda pilot. It has the best 3rd row, you can remove the middle second row seat, and you can’t beat it for the price. Highly recommend it.

And you need to stop between 30 and 60 minutes every 300 km because of the battery and at the same time a 1990 Golf can go 700 km with one tank without stop one time. 5 Minutes stop and ready to drive another 600 km. The most important thing from a car is the liberty to move and you dont have it with an electric.
