I remember seeing Jamie ride when I was 15 in ‘96 lol. It’s crazy he’s still deep in the game. Love the retro vibes.

picked this board up last year at a christy sports in denver colorado for just over $200. I forgot what a 90's board feel like - I have been on rocker boards for years now and a box scratcher for the last 2. This board is like a knife..

Just bought one from the year 96! Its a tad bit small for me but considering the stiffness it should perform just fine.. thanks for the review! Gonna try this board out in the upcoming season

Cheers for this fella, I still semi-regularly take out the OG 96 board and was amazed when they teased this earlier this year. Looks like the old one will be up for retirement soon!

I had that board in 96’; was my 1st Lib! This year on the T Rice Pro 61. If there’s a big boy model I’d be on it. Riding the Kemper Freestyle 61 last year with traditional geometry & modern materials was great. If the lines expanded for next year I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the review!

Gawd Daymn it nostalgia! Thanks Avran!!! Jaime is amazing! In 96 I was really gawking over this graphic. All my friends had the Liberace Technologies Lynn Whale and so I wanted to be different and get this deck. Especially when we would see Jaime at Baker rocking it. What a G! Waking up at 4AM to make the drive from Bothell, hitting up 7-11 for super big gulps at Bellingham, rolling with fake ID's we used to sneak into Sound Garden shows the night before, nothing compares to western WA in the 90's. Considering I also had a Lost Mayhem RNF 96 when surfing in Hawaii, and how I do not care for the progression of lib these days with magne and c2 orca dorca etc, even the background boards are telling my story! Great vid man.

Enjoyed the review... It would be interesting to hear your perspective on what would need to change to make the board more modern, and how those changes would do so. Do you prefer disrupted sidecuts, progressive, etc. Besides the full-camber bend, what kind of today's materials and tech might you tweak to "improve" the board. By the way I noticed the sidecut radius was quite large compared to today's boards... 8.5M on the 154, whereas many board that size seem to be 7.5M and smaller.

I love how dispassionate you were through the entire review as if it hurt - lol Will say I am OG will not be buying (too tall) however I did love the camber radial on my litagator from that era 😂

Dispassionate? Dude you try filming 20 reviews in a 4 hour time frame because your deadline got moved up while you fight a migraine and can't see out of your right eye. The fact I even look human is amazing.

Dude love the reviews no disrespect - I actually thought it added to review knowing your dry wit/humor/delivery just seemed perfect since this board really is for the nerdy mid life crisis folks looking to re-live days of old - cheers

Gosh damn that’s one hot ass board! Same year I was born too! I currently have a 153 orca and I would love to add this as my 2nd board. For someone who is 5’8, 200lbs, with a boot size or 9.5 and who rides strictly all mountain and no park, would you recommend the 154 or the 157?
