I loved the Mod Rocker had one every year it was made. This is my daily driver not quite as poppy as the modR but still pops! Great do it all fun/lazy/playful board. Not my charger (Tranny Finder 54) but I did drop Corbets on it in a 53 so it’s still good enough for big stuff. Also really good in moguls and east coast trees with the torsional flex. Rad board, could be a cheat code for intermediate dudes looking to improve.

Got the Capita indoor survival and loving it in the park and all over the mountain. Looking for something a little more playful for spring park riding and jibbing. I found a party mod and artifact pro for a really good deal. Would you go for one of those or something else to not have too much overlap? Not looking for a noodle either.

It’s not as damp in the tips as the Agent Pro. It carves different due to the camber profile and where you engage it.

hey avran! i currently ride a bataleon party wave + 151, im 185lbs and 5’10, this will be my third season boarding but i would consider myself to be a pretty decent level. mostly i’ve been riding resort, chasing pow, messing around on side hits and carving up groomers and glade runs. this season i wanna get into the park and start jibbing/buttering around. i’m tossed up between the rome party mod 153 and the gnu headspace 155, which do you think would help me progress in those areas and with my all round freestyle riding but still be fun outside of the park too??🤔hope you can help!

I'm like 185ish lbs and a size 8 boot. There's a 159 on sale that I've got my eye on. This is replacing my 158 jackpot that I drove into the ground. The 158 was great, but I have a feeling I'd rather go down 2cms than up 1. Am i over-thinking things, should I iust grab the 159 on sale rather than wait for this years?

Jackpot is also camber dominate this is flat to rocker. So it will ride a little smaller. But if you want to go smaller, then go smaller.

Yo, Angry! Love the reviews man, keep it up. Need your advice. I'm an intermediate rider and spend all my time resort riding specifically on groomers. Definitely a beginner with jibbing/butters but want to get better and improve on the freestyle side of things. I currently ride a 2013 Ride Buckwild in a 159. I'm 6' 215 with a size 10.5 boot. I'm looking at the Yes. Typo in a 158 or 159w or the Rome Party Mod in the 159. Love the look of them both. Do you have any suggestions? Leaning heavily towards the Party Mod. I want a board to be able to progress in the park but want to be able to throw down some carves when not in the park. Thanks

Hey angry, excellent review as always. I'm just looking to replace my Artifact to step up a bit. More interested in ground tricks and side hits but with just a tad more stiffness and all-around instead of being a pure jibstick. I was looking at PM, Evil Twin, Twin Pig, or even Cold Brew (just a suggestion from a friend). I've done the research and see PM to be more all-around which I also really like. Just asking if you see something I don't. I would greatly appreciate it if you can throw in some feedback from your end. Thank you in advance!

I'd nix that Twin Pig and instead look at the Zero from Ride. Otherwise you're on the right track.

Would you recommend the 157w to me as it looks like I’m not really in the middle of the weight range for this board. Other options I thought of are the Rome Artifact Pro 158w, Nitro T1 158w or even the Rome Gangplank 157w. Thanks!!

Same flex, different response due to the difference in camber profile. Tips are a little easier to press on the Party Mod due to the rocker.

Absolutely love your reviews and you made me get back at it after a 9-year hiatus! Buuuut need your help not to die (please?). I’m 35 now 165lbs and 179cm. I like to play around (butters and jibs) and used to spend some time in the park (some rails and medium jumps) but I’m old(er) now so might need to focus a bit more on the wider resort. I want something playful that I can also use in groomed runs and after watching some of your reviews I was thinking either: - Party Mod - Fun kink - Whatever - Shadowban
