Happy Monday guys! The hottest hatch on sale today may very well be this new GR Corolla! Toyota also just recently announced that this Circuit Edition trim will live on in 2024 and the company also plans to increase production in order to meet demand. They didn’t say how many units they plan this build, but it is still good news for those of you wanting to get your hands on this very spicy hot hatch!

Sir, I have to credit you for calling out the one major failing of this car - the cramped interior. I see so many reviewers, who claim to be 6 feet or taller, make excuses for these undersized TNGA interiors and it is refreshing to hear someone accurately emphasize this galling design failure. When a Corolla has less space inside than the Yaris used to have, consumers have a major problem.

It might be the “hottest” hatch on sale right now, but it’s also the WORST hatch on sale right now, in terms of performance. It’s the slowest AWD hatch, the most unpractical hatch, and the most expensive too. It’s also showing that it’s not as great of a “reliable” car when put on track, which is what it is marketed as, so it’s fair that this is said. Sorry, I had to say it. Not sorry though…

Good thing they've tuned this motor up to 500hp with boost alone in a GR Yaris. This engine, much like all Toyota engines, is over built and can handle way more. Just like the 86, this car is just meant to be a starting platform for motorists to have a wicked stock car, but tune it how you like.

I would actually get one Maybe in a couple years😂, But I'd actually get one I'll try to avoid these dealer markups but yeah it's on my wish list

Toyota just sucks at packaging it’s cars. The Golf R is slightly shorter than this and has more room inside and in the cargo area

Poor packaging brought to you by the TNGA platform 😆

Starts at $36k, but don't forget the dealership markups. So most likely you will pay at least 45k for it.

For reference it has almost the same horsepower as a mustang Ecoboost.....I'd imagine this Corolla could be tuned for more power

The Circuit starts at $37,000 while the Morizo (higher trim) starts at $51,000. The color options for both are disappointing. They should have offered the same color options as on the Corollas. Not that it would be in my price range but, if Toyota hadn't put out that they were going away from the "manual transmission", .....then I would have at least test drive this BEFORE buying the manual that I found. I also noticed that in this review that the cargo space was, "Mercifully" left out. Thank you for the review 🏹🤠👍

There’s no way I’d get close to the mileage. It’d be a miracle if I even got 200. The car would would never see that sixth gear cause I’d be ripping on back roads rather than take the interstate anywhere.
