More like 80%, the last part about JK Rowling was bullshit. Being bigoted is still nothing to be celebrated. I'm not calling for the Harry Potter books to be removed from shelves, but celebrating her for intimating that transgender people are #notourcrimes, meaning they are less than "normal" is still wrong. Did he really say "women don't torture cats"? I didn't know cat torture happened only along gender lines.

It's ultra-sensitive types getting worked up over nothing because they LIVE to find things to be upset about. And off-color/bad taste jokes aren't inherently malicious. My right to bodily autonomy in females spaces was taken my the democrats. You see how abused JK Rawling is for speaking out about HER rights. Democrats think shutting women up is "progressive." 4:09 that ban also forbade buying products from companies headquartered in those states. This led to even higher prices for products and services in the state. Causing the state to spend millions of dollars more than if they had been able to shop for cheaper goods. Millions of dollars of Taxpayers’ money. Local businesses were able to raise their prices to outlandish levels knowing they couldn’t be under bid. It also caused costly delays because the companies they could deal with were unable to meet the demand. This caused gaps in service to needy people because the cupboards were bare.

I have an early nomination for next year's awards. Bobby Weaver of Pottsville PA, the owner of Black Rock Brewery, a local bewpub. The brewery suffered a fire in May 2023, which caused the building to be condemned by the city until 67 code violations were addressed and the building re-inspected. He has addressed the violations and had a private inspector come in to verify the place was code compliant. He has been requesting an official inspection by the city for months, and the building is less than 100 yards from City Hall, but no inspection. So, in full compliance with PA law, he decided to open up the grounds (not the building) for an event offering free beer. The city has raised holy hell, initially claiming they would stop the event from happening but Bobby has stood firm. The latest is that they're going to show up and cite him for some bullshit, but allow the event to take place. I spoke with him yesterday as he was overseeing some construction for the event, and he's going to see this through and officially reopen. Tonight is the night of the free beer event.

Could also do with a lot less racism and anti-semitism from the left.

The trans identified men are like kamikaze pilots when confronted with sanity, but they've met their match with J.K. Rowling. She gives zero f's. Love her.

Well done. You could, if you wanted, hand out the Ovarios Awards. But it’s tough to replace the Truck Nuts.

Quite right about JK Rowling. I didn't always think so, but she's as correct as can be on those issues.

I want to see how each Award winner reacts to getting the Award.

I expect the reactions would range from good humor and a joke to "Cool, I don't care." Honestly I'm OK with both but would love to see what the jokes would be as well.

Bravo, M. Maher! Brilliant humor, irony and sarcasm as usual. Booting out the idiots on both sides... I love it!
