Rate Lando as a racer, put feelings aside! Piastri was racing his heart out, he is not a looser. Ferrari had one of the best cars and didn’t perform, yet they are in the “meh” category and Checo is in the “losers”? Checo actually had pace in the race and could have passed if Lawson wasn’t holding him back for no apparent reason. It’s like “hey Maxie, pass on by” and “Checo, you better not get close or I will crash you”.

Nah Lando is right, when it comes to that red flag ("free tyers") being luck not talent- all the drivers reject/hate that scenario unless it works in their favour! Max's race was mind blowing. Lando went on to say about Max's pace and that (even without the luck of the red flag) Max would've lapped him anyway and he only could have hope to come 3rd. I think this is a fair analysis, so others twisting his what he ment is realy not om. I was shocked to find out via Marko that Max was "begging" for the race to be stopped and Max said he wanted to trash the garage after Quali. It was so good to see Max race cleanly, he is so good he lets himself down when he drives dirty. Max was lucky but it was a breathtaking race by him. Meanwhile, Jos Verstappen has a character flaw that he's determined to imprint on his son: It's wonderful to finally see him publicly proud of his son, however, Jos claiming there is nothing to tweak with Max's "driving style" does his son and F1, the drivers and fans, a huge disservice - Max ONLY drives perfectly when he races hard and fair, NOT dirty...! Furthermore, the British press should be ashamed of themselves for not attending the post-race GP confrence in Brazil.

In 2024 it's not only a drive of great skill but also of great significance for the championsip. For me it's hard to pick a favourite though, because 2016 did have some miraculous moments, driving around Rosberg like he didn't exist and the save of the decade. A little comment on colapinto's crash, he basically asked his engineer for 5 laps straight for full wets and they basically told him they know better and should trust them, then they pitted him for new inters when he had a 2 laps old inters (i dont know why they did that) so he was pushing like hell to get the tures up to temperature and well he crashed, so the race incident wasnt 100% franco's fault
@KenKotsuNoGarp2 күн бұрын
I really don't know why he stopped again, I need to re-watch that, but the argument of the full wets is kind of ridiculous considering that the whole rest of the grid was also on intermediates and most were able to keep the car in within the white lines. Although if they didn't pit him he wouldn't have to be pushing hard to catch up to the SC queue, so I don't know what happened there, but if it's not 100% franco's fault is at least 90%, he was not on an alterantive strategy he crashed on his own due to a mistake on really treacherous conditions, It doesn't mean anthing, it can happen to anyone, it was his first race on wet conditions and it was a complicated wet condition so, really nothing to worry about
@chipsawdust58162 күн бұрын

Pole position, the best car, solid teammate, team orders, bad quali and grid place penalty for Verstappen, rainy condition disabling DRS use....it was the perfect race to take a chunk out of Verstappen's lead and what happened..... Max just drove with zero error, climbed fir 17th to victory, no DRS, rainy condition, 17 fastest laps in total, almost 20 second lead.... for someone who's trying to fight for a championship, this is the last thing you need to see your rival do.... absolutely show of dominance in racecraft, schooling the entire grid. This mirrors with what Verstappen did to Checo in Miami 2023, crushing them mentally when they thought they had a chance...
