Rate Lando as a racer, put feelings aside! Piastri was racing his heart out, he is not a looser. Ferrari had one of the best cars and didn’t perform, yet they are in the “meh” category and Checo is in the “losers”? Checo actually had pace in the race and could have passed if Lawson wasn’t holding him back for no apparent reason. It’s like “hey Maxie, pass on by” and “Checo, you better not get close or I will crash you”.

Nah Lando is right, when it comes to that red flag ("free tyers") being luck not talent- all the drivers reject/hate that scenario unless it works in their favour! Max's race was mind blowing. Lando went on to say about Max's pace and that (even without the luck of the red flag) Max would've lapped him anyway and he only could have hope to come 3rd. I think this is a fair analysis, so others twisting his what he ment is realy not om. I was shocked to find out via Marko that Max was "begging" for the race to be stopped and Max said he wanted to trash the garage after Quali. It was so good to see Max race cleanly, he is so good he lets himself down when he drives dirty. Max was lucky but it was a breathtaking race by him. Meanwhile, Jos Verstappen has a character flaw that he's determined to imprint on his son: It's wonderful to finally see him publicly proud of his son, however, Jos claiming there is nothing to tweak with Max's "driving style" does his son and F1, the drivers and fans, a huge disservice - Max ONLY drives perfectly when he races hard and fair, NOT dirty...! Furthermore, the British press should be ashamed of themselves for not attending the post-race GP confrence in Brazil.

Max said he considered 2024 the better drive than 2016, because in 2016 he had nothing to lose, there was nothing at stake in the championship. In 2024 it's not only a drive of great skill but also of great significance for the championsip. For me it's hard to pick a favourite though, because 2016 did have some miraculous moments, driving around Rosberg like he didn't exist and the save of the decade. Damon Hill looked like he was at a funeral when Sky were interviewing Horner post-race.

He lets it be known in subtler ways. Every time he's lacking in some department, he will come back in 1-2 races with it fixed. See mixed conditions pace in 2023. This year he has proven to be an incredible tire manager, something people said he lacked (he hasn't for a while now) and he finally has the team in a place where he can be successful. He has a race engineer that isn't incompetent, a TP he can trust, and hopefully Lewis won't be as political as his last teammate. In 2023, he would have had a good shot of winning Vegas on pure pace without the poorly timed SC, and also shown some of the best braking skills on the grid. I don't think it's age, but experience. He had to miss a year of racing after winning F2, and it's taken him a season and a half to work out tyre management, which is quite impressive considering how long it took Lando. His frequent stuff ups in qualifying are cause for slight concern, though. His overtaking is quality, his starts are generally quality, but qualifying and overtaking in dirty air need improving. Early days in his career, but there's always new talent knocking on the door so he'd better step up in the next season or two.

Max , ocon and gasly looked genuinely happy and emotional, it was a really wholesome outcome. Max was absolutely incredible . His confidence and aura was unmatched! A true champion 🫶. Mclaren as a team was an absolute nightmare! As usual they had the worst pit stop strategy , asked osc to swap positions despite a 10 sec penalty 🥲, lando as usual lost the pole position at the start ( i mean making the same mistake once or twice can be excused but if u do it everytime ,then it’s a you problem n not just a mistake ) , lando wasn’t able to overtake anyone in the race , osc made a stupid mistake n got the penalty for it (i love him but he wasn’t his best ) . And on top of this, lando is not helping himself w all these unnecessary comments.

@KenKotsuNoGarp
@KenKotsuNoGarp 2 күн бұрын
I really don't know why he stopped again, I need to re-watch that, but the argument of the full wets is kind of ridiculous considering that the whole rest of the grid was also on intermediates and most were able to keep the car in within the white lines. Although if they didn't pit him he wouldn't have to be pushing hard to catch up to the SC queue, so I don't know what happened there, but if it's not 100% franco's fault is at least 90%, he was not on an alterantive strategy he crashed on his own due to a mistake on really treacherous conditions, It doesn't mean anthing, it can happen to anyone, it was his first race on wet conditions and it was a complicated wet condition so, really nothing to worry about

Pole position, the best car, solid teammate, team orders, bad quali and grid place penalty for Verstappen, rainy condition disabling DRS use....it was the perfect race to take a chunk out of Verstappen's lead and what happened..... Max just drove with zero error, climbed fir 17th to victory, no DRS, rainy condition, 17 fastest laps in total, almost 20 second lead.... for someone who's trying to fight for a championship, this is the last thing you need to see your rival do.... absolutely show of dominance in racecraft, schooling the entire grid. This mirrors with what Verstappen did to Checo in Miami 2023, crushing them mentally when they thought they had a chance...

When I saw it pelting down, I knew. Said it before the formation lap to my mates. Max is going to absolutely crush everyone with his brass balls, unmatched skill and the typical Dutch/Belgian ability to step outside in the morning, look up and say: "tjah lekker" Some of those mates are British and they logged off early😂

what Stroll did was unacceptable, sure his dad owns the team so he has nothing to worry about, but patience has its limits and his dad is not investing in f1 to lose money at every race. also 17 fastest lap times for Verstabben after getting ahead of Ocon? what a statement

Interlagos 24 was like Monty Python's Spanish Inquisition! No one expected the Red Bulls going out in Q2 due to a red flag, and no one expected Max to get anywhere near a win from 17th. The way Max put himself in a great position to take advantage of the red-flagged race, though, was superb. No one expected Mclaren to struggle as much as they did in the wet. And no one expected a double Alpine podium!

I think Damon Hill should start calling him Sir Max Verstappen now. He is got to be the favorite for the 2025 title not because of the RBR because it will not be the favorite but because he is a Schumacher. RBR needs to bring in Sainz to cover him now.

"Simply Lovely" at the end is the boot into Lando 😂 Max is a Living Legend! ... Goat of all goats! A "This is Sparta" moment!! 2016-->Max goes from P16 to P3 at Interlagos in wet conditions. 2024--> Max goes from P17 to P1 at Interlagos in wet conditions. Masterclass drive then and today. The 4th WDC is his. WEEK AGO: Jos Verstappen 🇳🇱: "Is there a conflict of interest?" ... Verstappen Sr went on to add that "there were a few stewards present who don't like him anyway". ... The stewards panel in Mexico City comprised former F1 driver Johnny Herbert 🇬🇧; experienced motorsports executive and official Tim Mayer, who is also the son of former McLaren team principal Teddy; lawyer Loïc Bacquelaine, and experienced Mexican official Alfonso Oros Trigueros ... Verstappen Sr. 🇳🇱 added: "The FIA should take a good look at the composition of the stewards, who they put there and whether there is any appearance of a conflict of interest. For example, former drivers who have more sympathy for certain drivers or riders". OK let's see about the British 🇬🇧 media's history in this sport just in the last 3 decades portraying "bad guys": Schumacher 🇩🇪 Alonso 🇪🇸 Raikkonen 🇫🇮 Massa 🇧🇷 Rosberg 🇩🇪 Vettel 🇩🇪 Verstappen 🇳🇱 Anytime when some other nationality driver challenges British drivers then they are "bad", "dirty", "cunning", "misusing the rules", "cheater", "dangerous" etc.

Lando has to rely on his teammate in order to try to win the drivers championship. This is the 4th or 5th time in the last month or 2 where his teammate forfeited his position to Lando. Compare that to Max last year… Max won both championships single handily having more than double Sergio’s points. Lando still has a lot to learn and next year I don’t think he’ll be able to complete with his teammate.
