This video is really well done I was surprised when I saw how many subs you have. Keep it up! I've heard it can take a year or two to really develop a channel. But you can know that the algorithm is starting to recommend you!

Yep, spot on. I lived on $17,613 last year. That's all in, housing, insurance, gas, utilities, food, everything. Poverty is a choice. I'm 35 years old and yes I own my house outright.

you failed to mention that black owned banks reject black applicants for homes at a higher rate than the big banks. this is a culture problem of poor consumer choices, not a racism problem.

@@zacharyearl3015 Brookings institute study in 2021 found that black owned banks in inner cities had a higher rate of rejection of black people because of credit risk, not racism. these rejections were higher than traditional mainstream banks. Like so many lies on the left side of politics, they love to report findings and ignore causes for disparities.
nope. banks dont care about what race you are, they care about what credit worthiness you have.

Came to hear about housig market crash and get lectured codemation thatwhites somehow take extravagant vacations (they dot, they just choose differet activities that are less expensive than, say... amusement parks which are frankly, unaffordable for people who treat money responsibly)
@Radiganhomes6 ай бұрын
The message is that a housing market crash doesn't have one look. We all think of it as a 2008 scenario with foreclosures left and right and I'm suggesting maybe it doesn't look like that anymore. As far as the vacation subject, my point there is I simply don't consider that a legitimate problem especially compared to other items on the list.

Certainly I expect to see flat/ slower home price growth over the next decade. In the absence of the massive fraud and sub-prime elements of the GFC though, it's really hard to imagine an kind of meaningful home price decline; particularly in the presence of high inflation.

Not to mention inventory problems.

Perspective, to afford the home with the increased cost of living, you end up working more and DIY instead of paying a service. Leaving little to no 'vacation time' left for a real break. Year over year, keeping up with the cost of living slowly takes up any and all spare time. As the years go by with no break in sight, what would you want/need? Maybe a vacation? Too bad you got sick and had to use up the rest of time off on getting well. "Maybe next year," you tell yourself as you realize 10 years have passed. Now your kids are grown, and you never got a chance to take them anywhere.

This is in line with what I mean as far as a different sort of crash. It's not typical. And you bring a great perspective on how bad it can get.

Entry level homes will go up in price just about exactly the value of the tax credit just like with EVs. With the rise in interest rates, you likely will save little to no money if you downsize but then need a new mortgage with double the interest rate of your previous mortgage.
@Radiganhomes6 ай бұрын
Also, things like climate variations are starting to affect insurance, the cost list gets longer and longer.

In my experience, when your average schmuck says "I got a second mortgage on a second house because housing prices only go up" That's i when you know there is a bubble. But when every Tom, Dick and Harry says "House prices are going to crash, nobody can afford to live anymore" chances prices will remain flat for quite a while. If there is any crash in real estate to come it will probably be in commercial and office space in New York. You don't need to be a fortune teller to see what's going on over there.

I see a ton of commercial property sitting vacant here in Seattle and what's crazier is landlords are raising the price on existing businesses left and right, in some cases, causing them to have to close their doors or move.

Tax credits for first time buyers, yeah, that isn't a bandaid at all. This issue cannot be solved by any government policy.
@Radiganhomes6 ай бұрын
I believe it's more of a redirect, as if to say, "Look! We're doing something!" And I agree, any real government intervention could be problematic.

The Qualtrics study didn't specifically say millennials were the ones complaining about no vacation time so I'm not sure.

What the heck is your problem with people taking vacations?! Dang dude, calm down. We usually take vacations 2 times a year. It used to be to go places that we wouldn't be able to otherwise. No its to go see our grandkids. So your violent attitude towards people who take vacations, is appalling.

Lol hyperbolic much? What the heck is your problem with people talking about people taking vacations?! Dang dude, calm down. You used to go on vacations and now you can't, probably because of bad spending habits like - Going on vacations when you can't afford it. So your violent attitude towards the videos creator, is appalling. His attitude is violent? Sounds like someone is taking what he said personally. Also, why are you trying to shame him because your feelings are hurt? GTFO snow flake
