Zach Edey is quite impressive. His team mate Kawamura has potential too but hasn't played a lot of minutes. Stephon Castle is getting some minutes on the Spurs as a rookie.

In a Draft class with only 1 player averaging above 10 PPG, which kind of explains the Bronny-Brawndo Hype early favourites after 4-6 games are whoever can fill a big hole ie - Ryan Dunn, Yves Missi, Jonathan Mogbo, Jaylen Wells

Dunn and Knecht are easily the only frontrunners for roty, both steals late in the draft funny enough. I'd say Dunn is the favorite at this point.

No they are not lol. Sarr has been the best out of this class as of now. Yeah he has his struggles on the offense (he is slowly getting into rhythm tho) but his defense alone is more impactful than both of the two guys combined, he is already a little Gobert. Risacher is also struggling on the offense but still plays better defense than both of them. The ROY is as open as it gets

The problem as far as guards and has been the problem for the last 4-5 years . The league is just two deep . Every team besides a few feels like they can make a run . With that comes teams valuing possessions more , which means young guards don’t have room to grow . We just have a cycle of young guards never really getting a fair shot . We’ll never know how good guys can be if they just keep getting a sample size of playing time . Extreme take but I’d love to see both Rob and Reed on another team by the end of the season .

Why all this pressure to be so GREAT during the Rookie season.?? Give these fellows 2 or 3 years of learning in the NBA. Yes, some elites came from "nowhere" and had excellent rookie seasons. Good enough but thinking that every 1st round pick should be a starter in the first month of playing in the NBA seems absurd. These are young kids and didn't even all finish 4 years of college ball. Let them grow up please.

Any one of these rookies in the 1st round can win Roty, forcing voters to watch more games. Perhaps this draft class is more of an indication of how high of a level of basketball an NBA player must get to, rather than an all-time trash draft class.

At least with Reed Sheppard the rockets are actively trying to make the playoffs and have a lot of guards. But I’d say give Reed time and towards the end of the season he might have a nice impact like how Cam Whitmore was last year

The Rockets have 3 guards handling the ball. Reed Sheppard really has to earn his minutes. Amen Thompson, Jalen Green, Jabari Smith, Cam Whitmore all had solid second halves their Rookie Years. I expect Reed Sheppard to have solid Second Half to the season.

Alex Sarr reminds me of Tyson Chandler. Tyson was able to get playing time, because he was out the NBA before the 3pt era took over. Sarr needs to focus on a go to post move & midrange. Some dudes aren’t going to be great from 3. Giannis should have focused on midrange and a fadeaway jumper. The 3 ball isn’t in the cards for him. Hakeem, Ewing, Dirk, Malone and Duncan scored a bunch of their pts in the midrange.

Summer League means nothing. Everyone was so hyped about how great Reed Shepherd played in Summer League. Hell, Gerald Green looked like Prime Tracy Mcgrady in Summer League, but was just a decent role player in the NBA.

Steven Adam’s to me has always been a guy whose holding back on offense because he knows he can help his teammates and team succeed through screens and handoffs. He’s got really nice touch and can body most guys in the league I just don’t think any teams are asking him to
