​@@IcemanF14 Not much, but Avran rides them because they are like a vice/death cage around your foot. He loves REALLY (and I mean REALLy) stiff boots when he snowboards

Nothing wrong with paying a premium so long as you get the quality you want in return. Investing in the best quality equipment has not just allowed me to become a better rider, but a safer one as well due to less fatigue at the end of the day, and being dialed-in at all times.

Seems like Rome has the most adjustability in the game. And that Auxtech is easily the best strap, yes? Now, Jones, Rome, and Bataleon all use it.

Seeing the price tag on these makes me think about what the most expensive board/binding/boot combo is... . From what I can find in the UK it's Jones Ultralight Project X/Jones Apollo/ Burton SLX. Total cost around £3k...

And I now ride with my Rome Black Label bindings and K2 thraxis boots...seriously...I found the black labels on sale last year for like $350, they are sick, and I cant the high backs...and the thraxis is by far the best boot I have ever owned, had some k2 maysis before and they were terrible compared to the thraxis...I dont find the thraxis too stiff, I just think they have more padding and support, and If i need to i just loosen up the top lace boa for a little play...so thanks Angry!

Really? I have the Maysis and think its ok just bulky. My feet are never sore during or after riding. Thraxis much better eh? Was thinking of trying the Ride Insanos next tbh.
