Removing the medium Santa containers was such a dumb idea. They were so good. Now you get either the small ones for free, which are really bad, or you have to pay for the big ones.

Big containers were worse than mega. Big were 3% chance ship per voucher (9% for 3 vouchers), mega were and still are 3.2% ship per voucher (16% per 5 vouchers).

Today (12/26) is even worse…NO Advent Calendar rewards… NO Daily Login Reward…NO Event Pass reward (75 point jump)….NO free Armory Reward…NO Combat Mission Extra Mission….You get nothing today…WTF. Nothing for Loging in and/or Playing Dailies….sucks Big time. I am a paid player too…and got bubkiss today.

I finally got a ship last night after opening 40 small Santa containers. Got the Hood. Not bad, but I've opened over 150 crates and have gotten 1 ship. Disappointing at best. I've only been on game 2 3 months maybe. I've opened 10 mega containers. Got some premium and dabloons. No ship.

Yeah I didn't partake in any purchasing of crates. I wanted to see how many ships I got from the free ones after completing the event. I have zero ships. Last year I got 2 ships right away. I'm not purchasing any santa crates if any kind this year.

Got Chikuma II from a small container (it dropped a golden). But after several purchases, it's been a bit stagnant. Super containers are only a 1% ship drop these days so they have really lost their luster.

I can't say I'm surprised. On the bright side, I used that birthday trick you brought up and got myself a Karl XIV Johan and the Velos as well as some container samplers for only $69.

I've gotten so far the i56, Ise, Abruzzi and Florida from all the containers from the events. I still haven't bought actual containers for doubloons or real money. Just spending the little gold i am getting from the super containers or free santa container to access the battle pass and hopefully get more ships or gold to spend.

Surprisingly I got an T8 Atago from one of those crates they gave out today. Really didn't expect anything, but i got super lucky this time. This pretty much made up for the lackluster previous rewards for me.

This Advent Calender was less exiting than the ones with a piece of chocolate. Not to mention that joke of an intro which delays login when not skipped.

Yeah, we are pretty aware of WG screwing people more and more. The nerfing of the super containers last year (or whenever) made them very much less desirable.

30 Big crates and got didley squat no ships. A few years ago you would get a ship in every 5 crates.

Yes i agree 24 december 500 coal was very disapointing and on 25 erverybody think it will be a Mega Gift container 😑!!

They`ve should gave one Premium container instead of 2 small ones for sure. Got nothing from them, but as soon as i`ve filled up event pass reward, got 5 boxes there and on very first one pulled out british cruiser London. still can`t complain much for free ship, but yeah, one mega container would be nice after advent calendar is completed.

Ive been at this game for 8 years. The removal of the medium santa boxes was really disappointing. Mathematically, given the 1.66 x frequency of rolling the dice, I felt they yielded the most rewards for the bucks. Also, the content has gotten so goofy, and the psychedellic camos, recycled renamed ships, cartoon captains...its all like Walmart now. But what do you expect...port slots and 7 red boosters...ugh

All this reward nerfing they have been doing and than telling us it's because too many people are getting doubloons, regarding the super containers makes no sense, they just don't want people get a lot of free doubloons if the luck is in their favor and they did this right before the game's anniversary, the big gift container being removed was because they want players to get a less chance at getting a ship, it's another thing to remove so people have to spend money on the mega's containers, it's a trend that's been going on for like 4 years now, they are getting more greedy, it's sad to see and they obviously don't see it that way.

bro u said everything...man, they hid the rewards for the next day and just put horrible rewards so people would get sad and spend money on the game until they got something good... I've been playing the game a lot lately and it's depressing to see how much they don't care about the players ...not to mention that the ranked games could improve a lot in every way...after get tier 1 gold thare is nothing more to do...desapointing...how can they not hire active players for tell the best things to do and inspire players...so dumb e disgusting...

I got Gorizia, Tsurugi, Leningrad, Chinese Sub t6 and t6 indian cruiser in 60 small Santa crates. I was lucky😂 And also got 1 golden container which gave me Hoffmann😂😂 I have been playing wows for 4 years.

WG is constantly giving less and less and charge more. They do this to maximise revenue. Once income drops they will become more generous again to entice players to buy more. Same with making credits, asymmetric earnings have been nerfed big time.

Me, got 30 ships including Benham for a cost of £105 and my free hand outs from tier 10 ships and event pass (2 event passes paid for by the 3 off 2500 doubloons in mega crates).

I was convinced we will get HMS Eskimo in 25th , as adventures go to North Pole look for something , (santa?) and who live in north pole Eskmos , and as Eskimo is literally clone of Cossack with 12km torps ,that would be last year 1:1 deal where we got Scharnchorst 43 a clone of Scharnchorst , so yes I am dissapointed with that event , even crates become shity ! , at the begginig of event I have open 18 mega and 18 sg I won 5 ships , 2 from sg and and later on I went to ships per 8 sg but since 9th = 2 weeks I did not won any ship , so now 25th I have open 65 sg and I won in total 4 ships = ship per 16.25 crate , odd got 2 times worse , I am sure WG have nerf odds closer it got to xmas , I still have like 15 crates to open + 2 mega , would be nice to win ship but odds are not on my side , and T5 as gift ship in xmas is just crap reword !

I understand the frustration with the fairly lame free stuff, but I keep reminding myself that this is almost a 10 year old free to play game and to just take what I can get when I can. I really don't like WG's predatory tactics, but that's pretty much every free to play game these days. At the end of the day they are a company trying to make money. Not saying i agree with them and their tactics, but just that I play this game with the understanding that WG doesn't have my best interest in mind.
