Have 3 2024 Tacomas for work. Over priced, under powdered, not at all fuel efficient (non-hybrid). There is also a design flaw that allows rocks and debris to bypass the mud flaps and strike the flared out quarter panels even stock tires. Quarter panels are peppered with deep chips on all 3 trucks. Before anyone mentions rock rails - they still do not stop rock chips from occurring. Toyota has informed me that they will do nothing, of course.

That’s just ridiculous! If being over priced wasn’t bad enough they do a piss poor job with the lot. Taco off the list.

Totally fine wanting the v6 but calling this underpowered is silly. It’s got orders of magnitude more torque and hp.

@@ericleach2504 I wasn't referring to the hybrid. The 2.4 turbo charged engine is under powered. I have 3 of them leased for work and have been driving them for 7 months - I stand by my assertion.

Looks pretty cool. Though as with many modern vehicles at the top of their range, this seems to be a caricature of what people want to envision their offroader to be. So many exaggerated features and proportions.

This test and review sums up 99.9% of what this overpriced Toyota will be used for. Casual drives around town. I got to see one up close and was shocked at how abysmal the build quality was. Sad to see.
