I would love to see you do a review on the Street Triple RS , the one we can actually get our hands on. Would be cool to see the difference between the 2 aswell. Thanks
@JB-nj4cp18 сағат бұрын
The raise of the rear is 10 mm. And it's on the normal RS too, at least the new one (2023). The only real change between the RS and the RS moto2 is the clip-on, the front suspension (ohlins nix30) and some carbon bits here and there plus the paint jobs. The exhaust is the same in RS and RS moto 2, only the aesthetics change.
@astrofeeder77714 сағат бұрын
you get a couple extra horses on the moto2 as well. the tune is slightly different to my knowledge. the triumph website actually has the info backwards because they have redundant listings for their striples. the striple RS has ~128hp and the moto2 edition has ~130.
@xpantz3 сағат бұрын
There is not much in it but the the rise on the Moto 2 bike seat is a fraction higher with a slightly steeper rake. 765 RS Seat height: 836mm/32.91 in - Rake:23.2 Moto 2: Seat height: 839mm/33.03 in - Rake: 23.0 HP is identical with the RS. The biggest difference is the clip-ons and the OHLINS forks. EDIT: engine is supposed to be identical to the RS. Triumph UK website shows the power as... RS: 130 PS / 128 HP (95.6 kW) @ 12,000 rpm M2: 130 PS / 129.98 HP (95.6 kW) @ 12,000 rpm Why it shows the Moto2 at 129.98 when the KW and PS numbers are the same... I don't know. ?

im moto2 owner number 381 :) also respect to that dude for keeping it stock. i know the temptation to throw a racefit kit on a striple can be overwhelming.

What a great bike! I really like the design of those Triumphs, even though I'm not very fond of naked bikes. Always a pleasure to see whenever I spot on on the street.

I have '24 striple R in white. 12,500 miles in 1 summer. Not sure why everyone skips over the base model. The dash is actually better and as a short king (5'5 lol) i like that its 10mm shorter in the rear, plus triumph makes a shorter seat which imo is more comfortable anyway. The big miss is no cruise ctrl on the R. I believe the only difference in power is at the very top rpm, which i hardly ever get to. Unless you plan to track it, the R model is literally perfect for street use. Can buy lots of accessories for the extra price youd pay for the RS.
@triyo108916 сағат бұрын
Most people skip over it bc for the extra money the upgraded suspension and power is worth

Can you flat foot with shorter seat?

@k.a.j.adventures65882 сағат бұрын
Not a chance to flat foot, but with boots I can touch toes on both sides pretty good. I still get off to maneuver it into the garage

The 2024 RS is the best bike I've owned and my personal favorite motorcycle I've ridden. My Triumph dealership had a Moto 2 in the high vis yellow colorway but I prefer both the look of the Cosmic Yellow RS and the upright handlebars since I like long distance rides. Fantastic bikes and as far as I'm concerned the best triple on the market.
@kupalisky355313 сағат бұрын
Agreed. I added a cosmic yellow to my garage this year in addition to my Tuono V4 and ZX10R. I would say it’s the most versatile of all my bikes. It’ll be my daily where my Tuono and ZX10R will be for mainly weekends and track days Although, I did a track day on my STRS and I was owning 600s and keeping up with liters.
@iansmith23713 сағат бұрын
@kupalisky3553 it's one of those rare bikes that excels at just about anything you throw at it.

I'm considering a cosmic yellow as an upgrade from my Trident 660. Will it blow my mind compared to the 80bhp 660?
@iansmith23710 сағат бұрын
@R-Tap absolutely. Not to knock the Trident but it's better in every way.

I'd considered the 765 RS Moto 2, awesome piece of kit but dealership wanted nearly 10K AUD more for it compared to the 23 MT09SP they had in stock on end of year clearance. When I trade in the SP I might look at the standard RS as the price between that and the 24 MT09SP is negligible.

If it's rare I see these more often than a CBR650R still to this day lol.

Street triple in general or the Moto2?
@therealriver835811 сағат бұрын
I have the exact bike but haven’t rode it yet…might consider selling it in the future as it was an impulse buy when I passed by it on display at the San Diego Triumph this past November 😂

I own a 18' RS, the raised back is on the RS too. Got clip ons on mine as well. Fantastic bike, easily one of the few choices I could be happy with for the foreseeable future. Great breaks, great suspension, just enough rider aids to help out on a normal commute and it's lets you turn them off too. Shame about the newer TFT RPM designs. My 18' is not nearly as laggy and much easier to understand the revs.

I've got the 2022 Street Triple 765 RS. If it had cruise control and a usable tachometer, it would be Perfect.

Nice ride and lovely bike. I like the way you aren't up and down the gearbox constantly, I find that so annoying and unless it's a supersport, completely unnecessary.

I currently have a Trident 660, it's my 1st bike. I'm considering an upgrade to the Striple 765 RS. Gawd, they look great. Moto2 is the ultimate though. I find it difficult to find any negative review of the 765 range, apart from the odd screen on the RS
@yashpandirkar481414 сағат бұрын

Does the high level suspension on this bike allow safer and faster corner to corner riding than say an average Adventure Bike suspension …? Ie Honda Africa Twin , Tiger , BMW …with less travel on rough roads ?

I have a tough time trusting triples…especially Triumph
@apexcobra.official13 сағат бұрын
Where does the trust issue come from? I can't speak for the Triumphs, but the Yamaha CP3 is one of the best street engines out there right now and one of the most absolutely bulletproof engine platforms on the market. I can't imagine the Triumphs are that far behind, they've been revising their triples for decades...

Isnt it a repeat video? Yes, very sporty naked, thanks to handlebars. I changed rear spring from 95 to 105 and put S23 on, somehow I dont jell with Supercorsas on public roads, but S23 gives me all the confidence. Had faulty left handlebar switches, replaced under warranty. Starter is too weak, compared to the one in Speed 1050RS, and the engine chain rattles a few seconds on the start after a few weeks in garage, that oil really runs down. Daytona 675 (last version) was more exciting and edgy, but this is a great hybrid between sport and naked. Ah, clutch is way too close to handlebar and there is not much adjustment.
