These seem a like a good deal used, especially if you can get an extra warranty from Audi. Range has gone up over the years but this car looks just like the 2019 Etron Prestige with very low miles that a coworker of mine bought for about $35,000 including the extra warranty from Audi. I've seen the premium 2019's going for the mid 20's and 2021 and 2022 etrons going for the mid 30's. They do not have huge range but my understanding is that they have a good charge curve which means they hold a decent charging speed for a long time. My coworker let me drive his and the massage is amazing. It's very large and very nice.

Used to have a 2019 e-tron. It's quiet, looks, feels and drives great, but ends about there. The electronics laggy and slow, the menus and settings are buried and awful. Even the electronic door handles lagged to the point where the door wouldn't open immediately if you pulled on the handle too fast. The car also reminded you to get an OIL CHANGE every few thousand miles. The EV route planner was basically useless, and if you want all connected features, you have to pay Audi $50 a month for the privilege of using their slow, buggy and laggy app. That's on top of the panoramic sunroof leaking, despite multiple trips to the dealership for a fix. The fragrance dispenser was really nice though

I like a lot of things Tesla does, but their interiors are not one of them. The Audi E-tron interiors blow the Tesla's away IMO and they don't feel cheap and minimalistic but more like their ICE vehicle interiors. I drove the original E-tron and really enjoyed the driving experience overall and the fact it doesn't look like an EV, per say. Audi does need to improve their battery range and charging speed game as they are getting left behind.
@SteveJackowski2 ай бұрын
Range and instantaneous charging speed are not the issues. We have an etron and can drive 3 hours at highway speeds (75 mph) before recharging for 20 minutes and repeating. It's all about total charging time - The Audi is the second fastest charging EV on the market today just barely behind the Ioniq 5/6/EV6 (all have the same batteries and charging system) in terms of total charging time. Instantaneous charging speed of 350 kW doesn't mean anything if the charging rate tapers dramatically as is true of Teslas and other 'faster charging' EVs). The Audi and the Hyundai/KIA EVs don't have that dramatic taper when charging. On a trip, it's about total travel time and once you go beyond the range of an EV, that total charging time is the most important. We do 5-6 1500-mile trips a year along with 3-4 350-mile trips a month. It takes us no longer to do these trips in our etron than it did in our Audi Allroad (the last gas car we'll ever own).

@hideawayhomesllc51033 ай бұрын
Of course, nobody drives below 20% for fear of not finding a charge station, and nobody charges above 80% because it takes all day. Therefore you have 60% of advertised range, which would work out to re-charging every 160 miles.

Here is a fact that you should incorporate into your videos because one piece of information that you guys always say is actually quite incorrect. Chargers are built into the MOTORS of evs. The small box and cord that comes with every EV is actually and properly called an EVSE. They are not called chargers. Yes stupid people will call them chargers just because they’re too dumb to learn this and refuse to learn it. However, please call them what they are properly called. EVSE.

Of cause not a full speed drive if you wanna be fast. You need to be smart to get the most out of it.
