Drove one just like this a couple of weeks ago, really impressive machine. the engine is just a powerhouse, incredible pulling power and also makes a really nice sound, the steering is really communicative(very different from the standard m4). But obviously this is much more stressfull to drive, you feeel EVERYTHING trough the chassis which makes it really hard to daily, perfect weekend car tho

I spent about a week with the M3 CS and I didn’t come away thinking the suspension/road feel was punishing. I guess it just depends on one’s tolerance level, but having driven a number of track-capable vehicles, this one didn’t stand out as a big comfort sacrifice for its performance. 100% it is bouncier than a non-CS M3/4, but it didn’t get to the “jarring” level

Miles, i love every one of your reviews. I actually bought a brand new ‘24 Audi RS5 Sportback competition and love it, so far I’ve put on 10,300 miles. Though i dont regret it, i definitely think i should’ve text driven an M3/4 before purchasing my RS5. I went from a ‘19 coupe rs5 to the competition sportback, tested M850’s and stuff but not a g8x car. I think audi perfected the RS5 with the comp package, but i wish they put more power and added the switchable diff that allows for a drift mode like the RS3 has. Loved seeing you review this car though!!

One thing, I learned that m4cs/csl has a different steering/transmission tune did u notice that? I recently put that in my G87 and man this car rocks now. Seems the power is much more "used" now.

Tbh I have a 2025 m4 competition and if you are gonna daily drive I would 10/10 recommend. Just op for the carbon ceramics

I believe it's best to get a fully optioned M3 Competition instead. Individual paint, carbon buckets and ceramics, and an interior colour that pops.

Much better off with a CS for not that much more than a fully spec'd Competition. I had a 2023cx and my 2025 M4cs is worth every penny and really feels like a different car. You really got to drive both cars to see how special the CS is, its in another level. A fully spec'd Competition is about $115k, my CS was $122k ($3k discount), the CS 100% is the better deal compared to a fully spec'd competition.

Day 8 of asking to review the M5 E39 In my opinion I think the M3 CS wears the CS treatment better because the M4 CS, M4 CSL and M4 Comp looks awfully similar and getting all 3 of those cars will make people think that you're a psychopath for having 3 of the same cars and you'll have to point out the differences to make them think otherwise
