I am so happy and proud to be a Nigerian at this time that I am understanding the direction of this government. Many of you on this platform of comments should thank your start that it's not Atiku or Obi that get here to run this government. See combination of brains directing the courageous reforms thar president Tinumbu have chosen to do. Bot Atiku and Obi would have done the business as usual type of government abd ny reason is not far from that Obi have govern anambra for 8 years and nothing to show as development in the states other than to pay salaries abd so Atiku could have sold NNPC to himself or his friends in name of privatisation similar to what he did in electricity which is now more chaotic with all the discos. Thank you Bola Ahmed Tinumbu for your courage to reform this country

Since May 29, 2023 and till now, let's keep Atiku and Peter Obi away from what is happening, and affecting you inside Nigeria. You understand the direction of this government? Which direction? Is over 18 months not enough to make Nigeria better than it was on May 29, 2023? The same NNPC has been sold under Buhari before 2023 general election, so what are you talking about? Which Reform? With the worsening economic situation of Nigeria since May 29, 2023, if you can ignore your tribal sentiments, you should be asking yourself if the likes of Wale Edun, and Olayemi Cardoso are talking about the same Nigeria you lives in. If they don't have data to show us to verify all the lies and propaganda they are spreading, then they are only lying, and deceiving you. Tinubu just told us that his government has increased Nigeria foreign RESERVES from less than a quarter billion dollars to $42 billion and you believe him hook, line, and sinker with no where, and way to verify. Can you be putting billions of dollars in your saving/checking account and you will still begging, and borrowing more billions of dollars at high interest rates, and some hidden penalties? Which direction, and which Reform when more, and more Nigerians, including your friends, family members, and some people from the same village with you are currently dying in stampedes because they want to collect N5K? Did you received the N25K this same liar named Wale Edun to us this government you are praising have sent to the accounts of millions of Nigerians? Is this lie of N25K not enough to show you that they are only lying to you and millions of Nigeria about their fake direction, and fake reform?

@@oludayogiwa1806 interesting submission considering Tinubu just turned back the hand of the clock to what policies PDP with Atiku had done. Buhari reversed PDP policies, Tinubu reversed Buhari back, finito. Let's wait and see who Tinubu will sell refineries to.

Minister inflation is at 30 percent, interest rate 30 percent, and Nigeria imports most of the goods and products used in the country. How are you to grow this economy?

I am not one of the Emilokans, and I will never be. I like to be unbiased and forward looking in my analysis. Even if things are getting better, many of you here will not see them just because the person ruling Nigeria is not your choice. Nigeria IS FAR FROM GETTING THERE but the moves of this govt, in sincere analysis, are in right directions. Energies should be directed to pile positive pressures on this Govt to get it right. All these blind hatred and deeply biased remarks should stop!!! Foreigners and foreign Govts are very closely monitoring Nigerian economy and are seeing better days ahead for themselves in Nigerian economy, they are getting more attracted to Nigeria now. We, Nigerians, should be wise and direct our energies right and look for ways in which this Govt could be influenced to succeed. Whether we like Emilokan or not, his first four years reign is already with us, we just pray Nigeria gets better. God save Nigeria!!!

The hallmarks of inflation in a country are government borrowing, printing currency, and large government recurring expenditures, all attributes of Tinubu and former president Buhari's government.

Thanks for your all important question you rolled out at @17:50 to 18:20. Minister's response is taking tokenism to a new height. Imagine CNG buses, how many of these will be rolled out to make a dent? Same for other government interventions. Meanwhile you can trust, contracts for their boys is channelled out smoothly creating new billionaires.

The interviewer and interviewee should make this a discussion and not read out questions and answers. Minister of Finance and Economy is an important position in most countries; the ministry's actions are determined by numbers, and they execute like a start-up.
