No abs, no traction control,no quick shifter and basic electronics.just ride and go fast.not pushing many buttons. Riding skill is all that's matters and enjoying riding it❤

As an owner of 2 GSX-R750's, a 2011 and a 2023, I approve of this message! As a rider that is 60 years young, I find it fine to take on long distance rides. Love taking them out on the highways for touring rides.

I am 58, ride a 2022 Panigale V4S as a sports tourer. Waaay too much bike for 99% of us that buy these things but enjoyable nonetheless. Be safe.

63 years young and I just bought my second GSX-R750, a 2024 model that I absolutely LOVE ! This video is spot on 💯% why I chose this bike as my daily therapy machine.

I remember when 750’s were “the” bike especially for racing. Having these bikes STILL available is some quirk in the universe that’s amazing. Mad respect. 💪🏼 I don’t need a smartphone to make a call, and I don’t need a computer to ride a bike fast 😉

I've owned mine new since 2017. I will never sell it. A brembo RCS master with braraided lines transforms the braking, and a quick shifter makes it near perfect. Chef's kiss.

After deciding to buy this GSXR for all the reasons you are raving about, I went to the dark side and put a deposit down on a R9… but if it doesn’t show up at the dealer around the promised time, I’ll buy the 750 in a heartbeat! I wish Kawasaki had followed suit and kept 750 around as well.

I love my 2022 GSXR 750RZ! I am in total agreement with you on your analysis of the GSXR 750. I've made many improvements on mine over the last couple of years to improve and refine its handling even more.

Fantastic review of the OG for every sportbike we have today. Suzuki, more than any other manufacturer, can blend all the bits into a total package better than anyone else; this has always been their strength, and the GSXR 750 is the epitome of that. I have always said that anyone that claims to be a sportbike enthusiast needs to own a 750 GSXR at some point. And nice to hear your take on no quick-shifter. I have never been a fan, as it takes away one of the most satisfying and enjoyable parts of riding for me (says the guy with three cars which are all manuals 🙂)

Great review as always from Rennie! Small correction: the GSX-R750 has ~150hp (at the crank), the GSX-R600 is the one with ~120hp (mentioned around 3:41 in the video).
@cyclenews
@cyclenews 6 сағат бұрын
That is the quoted HP from Suzuki. On the dyno, the 750 makes about 125 at the tire. The 600 is about 105 at the tire.
@apantelop
@apantelop 6 сағат бұрын
@@cyclenewsAgreed but the 120hp number was compared to 200hp for superbikes which is also a crank (quoted) figure or should also be revised to 180-190hp depending on the bike

Umm…this bike dyno’s anywhere from 122-129 rwhp depending on the test you watch. Any full exhaust (mine is an M4) and a flash, like mine, and it’s the most fun you can have on the street. 0-80 mph it’s as fast as any 1000 cc bike, cheaper tires (180 rear), super light weight with razor sharp handling (luv my Pirelli’s), steel braided lines give you the brakes the factory should have, quick shifter is super fun so add one (still gotta rev match on down shifts), and I am waiting on my Corbin seat!!!

Great clip man love it. I got a 2011 GSXR750 6 months as an in-between bike before I get another Hayabusa again but man I'm really enjoying this bike and think i will keep it. Like you said it just does everything well. I put handle bar risers on it and dropped the front sprocket down one tooth and the rear sprocket up two and it's just perfect now. Im in Australia and my L1 has 130hp at the wheel so like 150hp at the engine. Do you have restrictions on your GSXR750 in the USA to only have 120hp? Anyway love the clip. Keep the GSXR 750 clips coming 👍😊💪

Good stuff. I said 120 hp, but I should have said rear wheel hp. It's actually about 123-126 rear wheel hp according to the guys who build the fastest 750s in the world (the Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki team I spoke to this morning for clarification). We have a few little restrictions that I'm not exactly privy to but 130 hp is pretty healthy for your bike.
@timdavie158

@cyclenews True true. I'm just going off the dyno sheet that came with the bike and all of the dyno runs on KZbin that are mostly over 130hp at the wheel from Moore mafia who constantly gets 130hp or more out of 750s with full systems. Anyway, as you said, the bike dose the talking not the HP numbers as they have just the right amount of power to weight and a great bike. Great clips man. Keep them coming 😃👍
