Essentially the same 9-speed planetary gear automatic transmission in every other Benz, except it trades out the torque converter for a clutch pack. But it's not a dual-clutch transmission where there is an even and odd set of gears with their own separate inline clutches that engage/disengage in sync with each other.

They're real. The pipe ends before the tips. The tips are separate due to people (myself included) who can afford nice cars hating the soot buildup on the exhaust tips. The soot stained the tips on my 2018 S4, but only on the passenger side, as the driver's side only opens in dynamic mode. (Audi rectified this on the 2024 and now they are both open all the time. 4:40 I’d ask them if I’m paying 215k for fake exhaust tips too🤣this caliber of car needs a better system that I’d provide through a third party what a joke

I dont understand why luxury expensive cars have climate controls on the screen. I can see the appeal for cheaper cars - no need to design a new button, cheaper assembly and easier dashboard design. But on a car you pay 200k for, its ridiculous. The screen gets dirty, you dont have any haptic feedback, you have to look at the screen (not on the street) to hit the button, and it looks cheap. Its just inconvinient and not luxury.

I love the features but I see so much that will probably cost a fortune to fix. The first and second owners won’t have issues but owner 5 when it’s $10-20k is going to suffer. 😂😂😂

This is a car you are only supposed to own for 3 years. Then buy the next new car. Nothing in it is designed to last.

Doug is the type of guy to tell you that you cannot, in fact, feel the massaging seats through the screen.

Oh wow! Man, all I gotta do is wait 10 years, pick this up at the buy here-pay here lot for $20,000, take it to the Wizard, have him do $20,000 in deferred maintenance and I'll have a car worth $30,000. That's my practical application of Hoovie math.

The Wizard would probably turn you around saying it is unfixable at this point, while a shadow of Scotty Kilmer laughs in the background.

The interior of the new S-Class always reminds me of a subway ticket vending machine with large screens and both horizontal and vertical AC outlets like card slots.

14:49 if anyone with two kids buys this, the motors for the shades is going to be the first thing to break. I can just imagine two kids hitting those buttons again and again to fight with each other.

With kids, even the most convincing communication takes lots of time, probably more time than the motors can last
