I LOVE the "elephant in the room!" Petfect houses are beautiful; imperfect houses have character and make me smile. I can almost hear the horn from the VWbug beeping a greeting as it passes by with a Christmas tree on tip.

Just love how Arne took advantage of getting his little digs in on Carlos, funny , and then Carols got his dig in on the beautiful gingerbread house,, will Carlos ever get over it? I think the design was fantastic, and the idea was lovely, just loved that Carlos couldn’t resist being very creative with his decorations, obviously Carlos could tell that this project was going to be very challenging…. I hope we see other houses as i think we could all use a few tips from Arne making the mistakes so we don’t have to… bravery was the order of the day… and given that these episodes are pre recorded we were lucky they decided to share.

lifted increases work so well. The gingerbread is still standing, good job two princes (in a VW) 2012 the two princes finally found a tree and put it on the roof but then the 1968 VW Beetle chariot broke down. They rode home in style on the back of a tow truck, Arnie commemorated the princes’ journey with a lovely embroidery, that is hidden under the sweaters.

I received the best compliment. I made a pair of mittens for my friend to give to her husband. Her mother in law who is Norwegian informed her they are exactly like the ones she had when she was a little girl and wanted a pair for herself. Hi Arne and Carlos, thanks for the knitting tip today. As a child I was taught the knit front and back increase but now I use lifted increase unless a pattern states otherwise. It’s always good to learn new ways of doing things. The embroidery of the VW beetle is growing.
