Wow thanks. Didn't know about those tablets. How handy. I will be ordering some. Does it make water drinkable or is that another kind of tablet? Sugar is an important preservative. I always keep 300lbs since it lasts forever. I keep little tulle bags of rice in it to keep it from getting hard.

If you had a filter I would not be afraid to drink the water with the tablet BUT I would not drink it without a filter ,But these little tablets are so easy to store compared to gallons of bleach

The bleach tabs are great for laundry, but not for sanitation. The label states this clearly at the top in Red. Still a great thing to stock up on. Thanks for your video.

Flour, sugar, cat/dog food shelves have a lot of spaces. I had to go to several stores to find yeast. The big stores don't have it but I did find it in my neighborhood grocery store. Anyone else notice chicken has almost doubled but my neighborhood grocery had turkey legs/thighs/breast was less expensive. A tip for cat food is make your own. I will get chicken/turkey, boil it to get good broth, shred it. My cat loves it and I set some aside to serve with noodles or something.

The only thing I do differently than you is that when I’m storing my flour and sugar I measure by the cup…. I do this so that every bag has the same amount and the number of cups is written on it.

You can put the sugar in mason jars and put on one of those plastic mason lids that are available at Walmart or us the vacuum sealer and regular mason lids.

I have been using the tablets. I love them. It takes up way less room than gallons of bleach!! I don't use sugar because I am diabetic, but, I have started saving it because you are 100% correct you can barter with it. I haven't seen that little sealer before. That is awesome! And if buying alcohol and cigarettes doesn't offend your personal morals, they are also very good to have for bartering. Smokers and drinkers will be wanting their fix. And alcohol is useful as an anesthetic if someone is injured and in pain. Or if minor surgery is needed....drink til you don't feel anything. Anyway, just a suggestion.🙂

I use black tourmaline Crystal for my water it never has to be replaced. It ionizes the water. And won't become stagnant. It also makes it alkaline. Dancing bear is where I get mine

Great suggestion Tessie. Unfortunately the price is double that already but still worth the peace of mind to have it. I am the same way not going anywhere and staying close to home. In reference to the green curry sauce : try it in some rice to see if you like it and then maybe add it to a chicken curry dish. Have fun with it, you never know what you'll like unless you try.

I have been stocking up too! Everyone thinks I'm crazy but they'll be happy when we need it! I news issue around food is people are so picky! I bought the ALDI'S coffee because it was what they had and cheaper and will I had to reorder the regular brand! Picky people are why I didn't or one of the reasons why I stopped trying to can. Yes gas went up again and watermelon at Walmart was 5.48 now there 6.98 but I'm going to a farm to pick blueberries for 10 dollars a gallon and going to another farm to get my tomatoes I'm only growing cherry tomatoes this I always get disease on my tomatoes

For example there is nothing I won't dehydrate. Make a go bag of those foods. Weighs less, takes less space. Tessie can show you how to do all that. God bless you.

I have never seen a little sealer like that how cool.. but if worse comes to worse what you can do you can see it by letting out the air by pushing down on the back having you a hot knife you put on some flames or a lighter or a match and you go over the area and it will seal it..

I use sugar sometimes or rarely most of the time. I’m not baking much because we’ll gain weight. Now for the holidays I bake small amounts. That way it’s a treat. But I have flour and sugar and plenty.. I’m stocked for 4-6 months or more because that the room we have.
