Happy Anniversary you two. The metal raised bed is great. First put a brown cardboard box on the ground, minus any tape. Then fill the bottom half with branches and sticks, any tree or shrub debris. This will become compost right in the bed. Saves on soil. I've done this with all my raised beds. Enjoy your time together ❤

Sweet Tessie, you are so blessed by our precious Heavenly Father. Ya'll are doing awesome. I think your anniversary plans are the greatest!! The best way to celebrate something so wonderful is to be together and doing things together. After my husband got so sick and couldn't do anything to help around the house, I took him out for short drives and we loved just being together. Just the 2 of us enjoying what God has created. We were usually out looking for deer. My hubby use to go hunting alot till his health stopped him. He passed away last October (10-4-2021). I'm hanging in there. We were married 50 years. I miss him terribly. One day I'll see him again. God bless you both. May God continue to bless you two, your family and your channel. I love the cat there behind you. You don't look old enough to be married for 35 years. That just proves that you are truly blessed!!

I saw the cat and thought oh my goodness you have a cat and what a cutie. Then it faded away lol. I go to Walmart etc late in summer or fall and find large bags of potting soil where bags are trying to come apart from exposure to weather and sun. I ask for discounts and most times get them for $1 each. Just store them somewhere safe till spring. I transfer mine to 5gal buckets.

Happy 35th Anniversary!!! Yes, you are correct in never going to bed angry. I also am a strong believer to never say anything when you are angry…take a step back and reevaluate the situation. Too many say hurtful things in the moment of anger. Many also forget why they married in the first place. People are quick to throw in the towel early on instead of putting God at the center of their marriage and working it out. Kind of reminds me of some gardeners. They figure if they have dirt anything will grow. But like a marriage, the garden must be worked, nurtured and it will grow and provide. It will sustain. Marrying your best friend is the biggest head start to a healthy marriage. May God continue to bless you both!
