This is the modern game. I don't think I will be following any other KZbin coaches. I am 61 and it is never too late to change. I want to keep up.

I love how you explain everything. Your videos have helped me a lot! Can you do a video of running to the forehand and preparing? That’s when I struggle and take my racquet back too far and high.

This the best explanation of forehand power. Thank you man

Please do a video on the open and close stand fiorehand because the lading seem to be slightly different. Love your channel

many local coaches will not explain this good to players because they will loose students quickly. Great explanation! thanks

My tennis has certainly improved since watching your videos. Thank you Doc !

Mine too enormously. Playing tennis for about 5 years but never knew what I was doing with my forehand. Now I got power and precision at the first try! I did train with this video the evening before with no balls to get the stroke in my head. Very odd how my tennistrainer (who is top 30 of the Netherlands) says I have to actively use the wrist for topspin...

Great lesson, full of excellent advice. Are there drills you can recommend to get players comfortable with these steps and to break bad habits?

Yes, many drills are covered in the course.

Call I please ask, when hitting the ball, should the racquet be vertical, or in a little bit close position? Thanks!

Thanks much, to come to the end of phase #2 @7.05 (pat a dog position) do I need just drop my racket down, оr to do some circle motion?
@Tennisdoctorofficial10 ай бұрын
Just let the racquet free fall down, don’t try to force a circle.

I recon this is the open forehand stance. Do you only recommend this stance or should I do something else with a ball that is not that fast and in front of me?

It's practically impossible to follow this technique on clay courts where balls bounce on you shoulder. What to do?

Could you help with clarifying how to get the 180 degree shoulder rotation without opening up the chest too much for the shot, or if there is a time to do one more than the other? Thanks.

Dont get me wrong, your video's are one of the greatest iv seen on youtube. But to me it seems you contradict yourself at @10.00 because in another video you are talking about the laserbeam and that your shoulders should stay at the place where you want to aim. video kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXKmdnR5jKqbitU

Why don't you extend a "1/4" more your takeback and hit more at chest level lifting your elbow a little more, the way Djokovic does? - the best forehand ever was and ever will.

You do you understand Novak has practiced 4-6 hours a day for years to cultivate his swinging style?
