This video made me realize I was just shooting dice when I went deer hunting in the past as a young man. First deer: 170lbs 9 point 5in around the bases. Chocolate antlers. 243 model 7. I was 9 years old on my first evening deer hunt. On the infamous Yellow Diamond Hunt Club. South Carolina buck. Still hanging on my office wall. What a day. I thanked the Lord that day for such a good buck. What a day. Good video.

I know of a buck that was poached 2 miles from my house in Ohio which I personally saw when driving home from work 4 years ago at 230 in the afternoon. I talked to a local Wildlife officer who had seen it only once also. I was driving a 1996 Dodge Caravan and this buck's rack was wider than my van. The hunter was caught and stripped of all hunting rights in Ohio. I estimated when I saw this monster that it would probably score 300 pts. It scored 296! It was not allowed in the record book because it was illegally taken. Another buck, in the same area walked up to my van within 30 yards of myself and my buddy from work and then ran away with a monster doe at his side. This buck was also poached. The hunter who poached this deer was stupid enough to post it on Facebook and got busted also. He ended up moving out of state. This buck scored 248. So I saw 2 world class giant bucks in the same year in the same area and both were illegally taken! Makes me sick!
@joehardy12884 жыл бұрын
What makes you sick? And how does one illegally hunt a deer or any other animal for that matter? Yahweh(the creator's name) gave mankind the dominion over all animals. These animals were created for us for food. Please understand that there is a big difference between lawful and legal like wise unlawful and illegal. Laws are what Yahweh said we are not allowed to do. Yahweh has Dominion over mankind because he created us. Now legal and illegal are what the government said we can and can not do. The government does not have power over the free people(aka republic) because they did not make us nor do they own us. The only power a government has is power given to it by the consent of the governed.The key word was consent. The government works for us we tell them what to do not the other way around.If you do not consent to there laws you dont have to listen unless you have a contract with them or you are in the law society like judges lawyers police
@FirstDescendantGuy4 жыл бұрын
@@joehardy1288 The only reason laws are created for deer seasons is so that entire populations of deer don't get killed off. Why can't you hunt deer during spring season? Because that's when they're giving birth to the young. The fawns need their mother in order to survive their first season. Perhaps they weren't taken out of season? Instead shot from a car? Why are you not allowed to shoot from the car? Because not only does it create a dangerous threat to anyone inside the vehicle + possibly other motorists on the road, but it also makes it incredibly easy. It's called HUNTING, not target practice. You HUNT an animal, you don't just sit on the side of the road anytime you see a shooter and shoot it. I also am willing to guarantee you those poachers that killed those bucks killed them purely for sport. If they were to have seen a doe they would've let it walk, they shot a trophy that was worth enough of the risk to harvest. Let's get into it deeper, perhaps they were taken with an illegal firearm? Now firearm seasons vary from state-to-state, even county-to-county in my state. Even when you're permitted to hunt with a long rifle in my state you have to at least be 10 feet in the air. Why? Because with such a high-powered bullet traveling at thousands of feet per second if you don't hit the ground past your target there is no way you can know where that bullet might travel. A case happened not too long ago in my state where a child, yes a child, got struck and killed by a stray bullet on the Fourth of July where some guy just popped off a few rounds in the air to celebrate. Yes I know it's not involved with hunting in any shape or form but it proves to show why they have such regulations implemented. I agree with you in that God , or Yahweh for you, gave us domain over animals. But quite frankly if we didn't have the laws implemented that are in effect today our grandkids, even our own kids would probably never see a deer in their lifetime. Just know that there's a reason behind everything. I'm not trying to come at your neck I just enjoy to see deer get harvested in the correct, legal and ethical way. That's what makes hunting great, the thrill of the hunt, the excitement over harvesting the deer, and gratitude that you know you did it the right way.
@immortallines84954 жыл бұрын
