You are right, an agave plant is not a cactus. While both agave plants and cacti are members of the plant family called succulents, they are distinct and separate groups. Sorry this clip made you angry and thanks for commenting to educate me and future watchers.

Once those pods pop those seeds will travel. Also birds and bees just love the flowers. My neighbours plant spread seeds all over my back yard. Kept the seedlings. They keep sprouting for a few years. The seeds last or the seedlings are hardy. Didn't know till today how much people value it. I love rare finds.

I live in Arizona i see this all the time. that bloom will fall over eventually

Once that tall part grows out the plant dies after
